Days 1 - 2: Satemwa Tea Estates, Malawi

Welcome to Malawi! On arrival at Chileka International Airport, a Malawian Style guide holding a signboard with your name will receive and welcome you. After collecting your luggage, your driver/guide will transfer you to Huntingdon House located at the Satemwa Tea Estates in Thyolo district. You will spend the first two nights here. You are set tea enjoy world's best high tea flavour on your tea tasting activity here. 

Arriving in Blantyre it’s hard to imagine what lies just 55 kilometres away; a haven, of luminous green rolling hills of tea bushes that look soft enough to sleep on, dotted with flat top Acacia’s that epitomise the African landscape. Driving through the winding roads of the Thyolo district up to Huntingdon House is a taste of what is to come.

Days 3 - 5: Liwonde National Park, Malawi

Wake up with the fresh breeze from the tea plantations and enjoy your breakfast before heading to the bush. In the morning after breakfast, your driver/guide will transfer you to Liwonde. You will be staying at Mvuu Lodge situated right within Liwonde National Park along the mighty Shire River. You will spend the next three nights of your tour here. You are perfectly set to enjoy delicious meals and spectacular animal sightings on your game viewing activities here. 

Mvuu Lodge offers a luxurious stay and an intimate getaway in a secluded setting in Liwonde National Park, Malawi’s premier wildlife area. The Lodge overlooks a tranquil lagoon, in an area surrounded by lush vegetation and towering Borassus palms. Mvuu means “hippo” in Chichewa and the name of the lodge was inspired by the large pods of hippos that inhabit the surrounding waters of the Shire.

Days 6 - 7: Blue Zebra Island, Senga Bay, Malawi

It's now time to head for Malawi's crowning jewel, Lake Malawi dubbed the Lake of Stars. After your morning game activity today your driver/guide will transfer you to Senga Bay boating station in Salima. On arrival at the boating station, you will have a 20 scheduled boat transfer to Blue Zebra Island Lodge situated at Nankoma Island right within Lake Malawi. You will spend the next two nights here. 

Discover a WILD island paradise. The exclusive Blue Zebra Island Lodge is situated on Nankoma Island, part of the Marelli Archipelago in Lake Malawi National Park (UNESCO World Heritage site). The 3 islands are home to a vast array of fresh water fish, including some of the most rare and colourful in the world. They support diverse flora and fauna and are a haven for bird watchers.

Days 8 - 9: South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

After your lake experience today your driver/guide will transfer you across the Malawi - Zambia border to South Luangwa National Park. You will be staying at Kakuli Camp situated perched above Luangwa River. You will spend two nights of your tour here. 

Located on one of the original campsites in the central region of the South Luangwa National Park is the rustic tented Kakuli Bush Camp. Revel in its elevated position well above the flood lines on the banks of the Luangwa River, which lends itself to spectacular views, and Kakuli is one of the few bush camps open for Zambia’s green safari season.

Days 10 - 11: South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

Today we will take you to Luwi Bushcamp. You will be transferred through the park to Luwi Bushcamp situated deep within the park overlooking the Luwi sand river and next to a permanent lagoon, in a tree - island. You will spend the last  nights with one night sleep out on your tour here. 

Primarily a walking camp, the game in this area is diverse and prolific. It is situated deep in the heart of the National Park and is one of the only Luangwa safari camps to be positioned well away from the permanent waters and rich vegetation of the main river. Due to its remote location there are not many roads in the area so activities are centred on walking safaris. This fact makes Luwi Bush Camp one of the most enthralling camps in Zambia. The wildlife in the area is prolific and to track it each day on foot is a memory that will last a lifetime

Days 12 - 15: Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

We now take you to Lower Zambezi! In the morning today you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport to check in for your scheduled flight to Jeki Airstrip in Lower Zambezi. On arrival at Jeki, you will be transferred to Anabezi Luxury Camp tucked away in the Lower Zambezi National Park. You will spend the last four nights of your tour here. 

With viewing decks, a swimming pool overlooking the river and central fire-pit to keep you warm as the day turns to night, you’re promised nothing less than stylish luxury. Built on the foundations of the renowned site of Ana Tree Lodge, Anabezi Camp is made up of twelve spacious, secluded tents, raised on timber platforms to give you a magnificent view of the Lower Zambezi National Park.

Day 16: End of Itinerary

End of your tour! In the morning, you will be transferred to Jeki Airstrip to catch your scheduled flight to Lusaka for your flight back home. We hope you have had great time in Africa and take with you fantastic memories.
