Day 1: Overnight Travel

Depart the U.S. on international flight to Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

There are 2 flight options to get to Santa Cruz, Bolivia; COPA and Air Boliviana. COPA is a Latin carrier, based in Panama City, Panama. For some folks this is the preferred carrier as they are partnered with United Airlines and offer service out of 6 major U.S. cities, connecting through Panama City and into Santa Cruz.  The COPA flight arrives into Santa Cruz about 9:30pm and on the back end, departs Santa Cruz about 2:30am. The other option is Air Boliviana. This carrier departs Miami daily at 10:30pm, arriving into Santa Cruz at approximately 5:00am, the next day. On the flight home, as of November 2021, Boliviana departs Santa Cruz at 10:30pm, back into Miami at 6:00am, next day. Flight itineraries are subject to change.

If you fly COPA, you will overnight in Santa Cruz on the evening of arrival. If you fly Air Boliviana you would actually fly overnight and get into Santa Cruz the next morning, so, would go directly to the lodge once leaving the airport.

Upon arrival into Santa Cruz, Bolivia and after clearing Immigration, you will proceed to the baggage claim area where Felipe Molina will be on hand to assist you with your bags and to clear your shotguns. If flying COPA, after exiting the airport, you will be transferred  to your hotel  where we will reserve your single or double room and you will just pay the hotel directly upon check in.
