Day notes
This is an early start as you will experience the second session of your hosted photographic excursion this morning. Leaving as the sun rises – and fortified with coffee and rusks - allows you to get into the Chobe National Park first thing and to take advantage of the wonderful early morning light on the river. At the end of a few hours you will be far more proficient and comfortable with your camera and hopefully a few stunning photographs richer.

You will return to the lodge for a delicious brunch served at 11h00. The afternoon is yours to spend as your please and you are free to partake in any activity of your choice. You can enjoy the beautiful lodge facilities and just unwind while watching the river in front of you and the myriad of birds above you. If you would like you could again take your own personal tender boat to explore the waterways of the Kasai Channel into the mighty Zambezi River, or even try your hand at fishing for the wonderful Tigerfish – a very sought after sport fish that provides an absolute thrill when you manage to land one. Alternatively you can even take a guided walk on Impalila Island to view the local villages or to climb the magnificent 2000 year old Baobab tree, from the top of which you can see where Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe all come together.

Day notes
This morning enjoy a tour of the Victoria Falls from the Zambian side. The majority of the tour takes place on the other side of the gorge, which is the best for photographic reasons. The best seasons to see the Falls are roughly mid June to mid September (start of the dry season) or mid November to mid January (start of rainy season). Between mid January and mid June the Falls are at its highest, which also means the spray is enormous and part of the view is blocked. Mind your cameras, because you will get wet! As for mid September to mid November, those are the hot dry months and the Falls do dry up to a certain extent. During the months when the spray is big and its full moon, the lunar rainbow is visible. It can be quite spectacular to see a rainbow at night! Usually this phenomena occurs from mid June to mid September and mid January to mid April.
