Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide, who will take you to your hotel. Sit back, relax, and let the adventure begin as you settle in and soak up your first moments in this incredible country.

After breakfast, it’s time to hit the road. With your guide by your side, you’ll drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where the real adventure begins: an on-foot search for the White Rhinos! Ziwa is the only place in Uganda where these magnificent animals are under 24-hour protection, making your encounter extra special. The drive takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, with plenty of scenery to enjoy along the way.

After a well-earned lunch, the journey continues to Murchison Falls National Park, where you’ll check in at your lodge and get ready for the wonders that await.

The day starts early, with the alarm at 6:00 AM, ready for a morning game drive through the park at 7:00. Watch the wildlife come to life as you drive along the tracks, then return to the lodge for a well-earned lunch.

At 2:00 PM, your private boat trip on the Nile begins, taking you to the bottom of the spectacular Murchison Falls. Over the next three hours, keep your eyes peeled for hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, and maybe even a passing elephant or two.

For those feeling adventurous and in good shape, there’s the chance to be dropped off at the bottom of the falls and hike up along the waterfall — a thrilling but steep and slippery climb. After the boat trip and/or hike, it’s time to return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner, reflecting on a day full of adventure.

You will check in for your flight and make your way to Kasese Airport. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, the afternoon is at leisure, giving you a chance to relax and soak in the surroundings, or you can head out for an evening game drive, letting the park reveal its wildlife in the soft glow of sunset.

The day begins with an exciting lion tracking experience. You’ll join a member of the research team as they track a pride using radio collars, giving you the rare chance to get up close to these magnificent animals. Along the way, you’ll learn about the lions’ role in the ecosystem and the delicate balance between wildlife and the local communities who share the land.

After the tracking and a morning game drive, the adventure continues at 2:00 PM with a private boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. Glide along the water and watch hippos, crocodiles, and countless birds in their natural habitat. By around 5:00 PM, you’ll be back at the lodge, ready to relax and reflect on a day full of wildlife wonders.

Today you’ll journey through the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, from Ishasha to Bwindi. In the Ishasha area, you’ll enjoy a short game drive in search of the park’s famous tree-climbing lions — a truly unique sight in the wild.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Bakiga Lodge, perfectly situated on the edge of the national park, where you can relax, take in the forested surroundings, and get ready for the adventures ahead.

Today is all about gorilla trekking! After breakfast, you’ll head to the rangers’ post for a short briefing before stepping into the forest to begin the search for the mountain gorillas.

The trek can take several hours, depending on where the gorilla family is located, and the mountainous terrain means good walking shoes are essential. But every step is worth it — the forest is stunning, and the encounter with these incredible creatures is truly unforgettable.

After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you’ll return to the lodge to relax, explore the camp, and savor the memories (and photos!) of an extraordinary day.

Today you’ll leave the rainforest behind and journey to Lake Mburo National Park, famous for its large herds of zebras and open savannah landscapes.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues with a game drive, where you can spot zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife roaming the park, or choose a relaxing boat ride on the lake, taking in the scenery and watching for hippos, birds, and other creatures along the water’s edge.

The day begins with an adventurous safari walk, giving you one last chance to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the park up close.

In the afternoon, your guide will drive you back to the airport, with a fun stop at the Equator line along the way — a perfect final photo opportunity before your journey home.
