Johannesburg
Johannesburg, affectionately referred to by locals as “Jozi” or “Joburg,” is the largest city in South Africa and one of the 50 largest urban areas in the world. Though not traditionally a tourist destination, Johannesburg is a transit point for connecting domestic and international flights and has become a cultural hub with museums, theaters, art galleries, and libraries. There are opportunities for shopping at upmarket shopping centers like Sandton City, the Mall of Africa, and Nelson Mandela Square and, for souvenirs and African art, at flea markets like Oriental Plaza and the Rosebank Flea Market. Johannesburg is the home of the Constitutional Court, the highest court in South Africa, and tours to the Apartheid Museum often combine a visit to Constitution Hill. Other attractions include former townships like Alexandra and Soweto, where visitors learn about South Africa’s apartheid history. The Mandela Museum, located in the former home of Nelson Mandela, is located in Soweto.

Skukuza Rest Camp
This Camp, in Kruger National Park, is a popular rest camp situated in the heart of the Big Five territory and is easily accessed by road and air. Skukuza Rest Camp in Kruger National Park features a variety of accommodation options, such as campsites, furnished safari tents, luxury bungalows, cottages, and 4 guesthouses. The area's myriad of birds and wild game is easily spotted by going on bush walks and game drives. Wildlife documentaries are shown in an outdoor amphitheater. A magnificent 9-hole (18-tee) Par 72 golf course is available for golf enthusiasts on their Kruger Park safari holiday.
The most rewarding game drive is probably the route to Lower Sabie, which follows the well-wooded bank of the Sabie River, where Bushbuck, Leopard, and even a few Nyala find a home. Watch the Hippopotamus laze in the river, and Crocodiles sun themselves on the sandbanks on this Kruger National Park safari. Lions are frequently spotted along this sightseeing route. The coastal forest is home to bushbuck, bushpig, brown hyena, and the rare tree dassie.
Skukuza Rest Camp has 2 restaurants - the Cattle Baron Skukuza and the Kruger Station. The Cattle Baron at Skukuza serves breakfast, lunch, and supper and has a deck boasting lovely views of the Sabie River. The Kruger Station has a deli, bar, restaurant, ice cream, coffee shop, and kid's zone.
Skukuza is the Kruger National Park's largest rest camp and administrative headquarters, offering two restaurants, ATMs, an Internet Cafe, a well-stocked park shop, and a fuel station. Situated on the southern banks of the Sabie River. The camp is well foliaged and some lofty trees are along the river’s edge. The luxury chalets overlook the magnificent Sabie River and offer exceptional opportunities to spot wildlife from your accommodation, and you may even be fortunate enough to spot Thick-tailed Bush Babies in camp as they climb the large trees in search of food.

Pungwe Safari Camp
Pungwe is a small, intimate, authentic safari camp that brings back the essence of a true safari experience. Comfortable en-suite Meru-style tents are reminiscent of days when safaris were all about the sights, sounds, and smells of the bush. The camp is about the bush, the animals, the unique experiences, and the subsequent regaling of these by the iconic fireside. If exclusivity is the true definition of luxury, then, with only four en-suite meru-styled tents, Pungwe offers the kind of intimacy one only finds in a truly unique, authentic safari camp.
Situated in the southern part of the 22 000ha Big Five Manyeleti Reserve, Pungwe shares unfenced boundaries with two world-renowned reserves, the Sabi Sand Reserve to the south and the Kruger National Park to the east, allowing for free movement of wildlife between the three reserves. This ensures that Pungwe's guests will be privy to some spectacular game viewing without sharing the sightings with numerous other visitors. Guided morning walking safaris put you in touch with the bush, immerse you in your surroundings and enable you to encounter wildlife at a unique level. Afternoon/evening game drives ensure that your sightings are up-close and personal.
With only four tents, Pungwe offers privacy and personal attention in an authentic African setting. The large en-suite tents offer twin or king-size beds, cotton linen, and fluffy duvets to luxuriate in. The en-suite bathrooms feature stand-alone showers, baths, flushing toilets, and African-inspired hand basins.
