Day notes
Your safari starts on the World's largest complex of Salt Pans formed thousands of years ago and an amazing spectacle to visit. The camp itself sits on the edge of these plans so you will be able to get some time out on the pans and also exploring the surrounding bush with a highlight being able to sit with a family of meerkats as they start their day and see their complex social structures.

Your next camp is a completely different habitat as you will now be right in the middle of the Okavango Delta on a private Island where there only way to explore here is either on foot or by mekoro (canoe). A wonderful way to see the smaller details of this incredible ecosystem along with all the big animals, it is a really genuine safari experience.

Chitabe Camp is in a private concession area and I rate this as one of the best in the Okavango Delta System. You will be able to explore the many types of ecosystem here that include the Wetlands, Rivers, Islands and Grasslands - it is a great place to see all of your big predators like Lions, Leopard, Spotted Hyena and African Painted Dogs and a whole range of other classic African animals like buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, impala, warthogs, hippos and so much more.
