- On arrival at JKIA airport in Nairobi, Kenya, you will be warmly welcomed in Africa and handed additional travel information.
- Have a transfer to your hotel where you can freshen up and prepare for the days to come...
- If your flight arrives early we can add optional activities such as a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or the Karen Blixen Museum.
- After breakfast at the hotel meet your personal driver/guide.
- Travel in southerly direction to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp where you will be spending 2 nights.
- Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.
- The next day is set aside for morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli.
- After breakfast, you check out and take a morning game drive en-route towards the border town of Namanga, where you cross into Tanzania and continue to Arusha.
- After lunch in Arusha, resume your journey to Tarangire.
- Enjoy a game drive en-route to the lodge.
Amboseli- Arusha : 273Kms /Driving time : Approx 4hrs & Arusha- Tarangire : 132Kms / Driving time : Approx 3hrs
- Spend the day in Tarangire National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives.
The Tarangire National Park is a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The high number of scenic baobab trees dominate the landscape and another reason to visit this beautiful park.
- Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, after which you depart for Serengeti National Park
- The drive to your next lodge is a game drive in itself
- Spend 2 nights in the comfort and luxury of One Nature Nyaruswiga.
Tarangire - Serengeti : 214Kms / Driving time : Approx 4hrs
Day 7 is a full day spent in Central Serengeti. You can choose to collect lunch boxes from lodge and stay out with your guide full day game drive in the vast Serengeti. Or depart for a game drive after breakfast to return to the lodge for lunch, then depart for another game drive later in the afternoon. The day is tailored to you!
The Serengeti is a vast savannah ecosystem and is actually located in both Tanzania and Kenya. It's famous for its incredible wildlife populations and annual migration of wildebeest and other animals. It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Early breakfast at the lodge and time to leave the wonderful staff at One Nature Nyaruswiga behind.
- Depart for Ngorongoro, where a new highlight will be waiting. You will have a game drive in the crater en-route to the next lodge.
Serengeti- Ngorongoro : 170Kms / Driving time : Approx 6hrs. Possible stops on the way to view wildlife
The next day descend 2,000 feet into the giant caldera of this extinct volcano. This magnificent natural amphitheater contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa. Prides of lion, black rhino and elephant share this land with the legendary Masai tribesmen. Because the grasses are short, game is easily spotted and can be approached quite closely. We spend a splendid morning on the floor of the crater observing wildlife in this ageless World Heritage Site.
The experience is even heightened by wonderful extras such as dining in one of the most unique settings in Africa - on the crater floor and interacting with the Maasai and Hadzebe tribes to step back in time at Olduvai Gorge.
- This day you will drive back to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch at the Arusha Coffee Lodge.
- After lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport to board your outbound flight.
Ngorongoro – Arusha : 190Kms / Driving time : Approx 3hrs.
