Day 1 – Arrival in Windhoek
Upon arrival, collect your rental vehicle and drive to your guesthouse. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest after your flight or to explore Windhoek’s small but lively centre.

Day 2 – Into the Kalahari
Leave the capital behind and travel south towards the Kalahari, a landscape defined by red dunes and sweeping grass plains dotted with acacia trees. In the late afternoon, join a guided sundowner drive to experience the tranquillity of this semi-desert and observe its unique flora and fauna as the sun sets in vivid colour.

Day 3 – Journey to the Namib Desert
Continue west through the rugged passes of the Tsaris and Naukluft Mountains towards the Namib. As you descend, the landscape opens into a vast desert plain stretching endlessly to the horizon – a glimpse of the majestic desert scenery that lies ahead.

Day 4 – Sossusvlei and the Namib Dunes
Rise early to enter Namib-Naukluft National Park and witness the first light over the towering dunes of Sossusvlei. The soft hues of gold and crimson shift with the sun’s movement. Explore the hauntingly beautiful Deadvlei, climb a dune for spectacular views, and visit Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for a relaxed afternoon.

Day 5 – Across the Desert to the Coast
Drive west across the Namib Desert, passing through dry riverbeds and rugged mountain ranges before reaching the cool Atlantic coast. The route offers a stunning transition from desert to sea. Arrive in Swakopmund, a charming town known for its relaxed atmosphere and coastal charm.

Day 6 – Swakopmund and the Atlantic Coast
This morning, embark on a catamaran cruise in the Walvis Bay lagoon, where dolphins, seals, and pelicans often accompany the boats. The afternoon is at leisure to explore Swakopmund – stroll along the promenade, visit local boutiques and cafés, or join an optional scenic flight or quad-bike excursion.

Day 7 – The Erongo Mountains
Travel inland towards the Erongo Mountains, a region of striking granite outcrops and prehistoric rock formations. En route, admire the dramatic Spitzkoppe, often called Namibia’s “Matterhorn”. In the late afternoon, enjoy a guided walk and watch the sun set over this wild, sculpted landscape.

Day 8 – Twyfelfontein and Damaraland
Your journey continues north through Damaraland, passing Namibia’s highest peak, the Brandberg. The region is rich in geological wonders and ancient rock engravings. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Twyfelfontein to see these historic artworks etched into stone thousands of years ago.

Day 8 – Twyfelfontein and Damaraland
Your journey continues north through Damaraland, passing Namibia’s highest peak, the Brandberg. The region is rich in geological wonders and ancient rock engravings. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Twyfelfontein to see these historic artworks etched into stone thousands of years ago.

Day 10 – Towards Etosha National Park
Continue to Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. Upon arrival, head out for an afternoon game drive to observe elephants, zebras, giraffes, and other animals gathering at the waterholes.

Day 11 – Etosha National Park
A full day of wildlife viewing awaits. Explore the park’s central areas, where vast plains and salt pans attract large herds of animals. With patience and a little luck, sightings may include lions, leopards, or rhinos.

Day 12 – Across Etosha to the East
Travel through the park towards the eastern boundary, stopping at waterholes to observe different species and their fascinating interactions. Exit via the Von Lindequist Gate and continue to your next lodge, surrounded by acacia woodland.

Day 13 – Okonjima Nature Reserve
Head south to Okonjima, a private reserve set within the Omboroko Mountains and home to the renowned AfriCat Foundation. The reserve is dedicated to the conservation of leopards and other predators. This afternoon, join an included game drive in search of leopards and enjoy your final evening immersed in nature.
Overnight: Okonjima Plains Camp (Full board + Leopard Tracking)
Day 14 – Return to Windhoek and Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Windhoek. Return your rental vehicle and continue to the airport for your onward flight. Depart Namibia with lasting memories of its wide horizons, desert beauty, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
