Kenya Safari for Wildlife (7 Days)

DAY 1 Your safari begins when you arrive in Nairobi where we will be met at the airport and transferred to The Boma Hotel here we book you on bed and breakfast only. After checking in, you will have time to rest from the jet lag as you prepare to enjoy your safari for the remaining days.

DAY 2 After breakfast and check out, we shall drive to the scenic Amboseli National Park, located at the base of the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro offering a beautiful backdrop. The setting combines with the unmatched view of animals, giving you the most memorable time in Amboseli. With a good view, we will check in at  Ol Tukai Lodge, and later enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive into the park. This is an exciting opportunity to see a wide range of wildlife in their natural habitat. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 A full-day game drive at Amboseli national park is a thrilling and unforgettable experience. Start your day early, just before sunrise, when the wildlife is most active. As you search for wildlife among the grassy plains of Amboseli, you will be amazed by the sights of elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, and other animals roaming the landscape. During your game drive, you may even be lucky enough to spot some of the Big Five—elephants, lions, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards. Throughout the day you will also have opportunities to take breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from different angles. Your day of game driving ends in the evening, as you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 This morning, we shall drive to Lake Naivasha in good time for lunch and check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge. Later in the evening, you shall embark on an optional boat ride on the tranquil waters of Lake Naivasha, a bird lover's paradise. You will encounter hippos wallowing in the water and an abundant number of birds. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge.

DAY 5 This day, we shall drive to the iconic savannah wilderness, the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. This is Kenya’s number one park and is always on every tourist’s “Must see list”. Full of life with various types of animals and birds, Masai Mara crown’s the climax of every safari in Kenya. Its rolling grasslands and acacia savannah have time and again been captured on film with the movie “Out Of Africa” being the most famous.  Masai Mara is home to the “Big Five” (Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhino) and over 450 bird species.  Apart from the big five, the Masai Mara is most famous for the spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July or August.  During this crossing, hundreds of animals are swept away by the first moving Mara River and others are killed by the ferocious African Crocodiles.  This crossing gives true meaning to the phrase “Survival of the fittest”. Game drive en-route to the camp for check in. Later, have an evening game drive as you get to witness the dramatic hunt and the big five. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa lodge

DAY 6 Full day in Masai mara with morning and afternoon game drives or full day game drive as you get to observe and search for large predators. On the plains there are giant flocks of herbivores, and among the acacias hide cheetahs and leopards. On this day, you can have an optional hot air balloon safari as you view the breath-taking sunrise over the Masai mara or a visit to the local Masai village.

DAY 7 Soon after breakfast, (with a game drive en-route), we head back to one of Africa’s modern capital cities Nairobi, affectionately known as the “City Under the Sun”. Later be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
