Met at Kigali Airport and transferred to Kigali Serena Hotel for dinner and overnight.



After an early breakfast, we follow the road as it climbs and descends some of the thousand Hills, with spectacular views all along the way. Arrive at Huye and visit the National Museum. It is a must for anybody who is interested in African history. After lunch and time permitting, tour the remarkable arboretum and continue toward the Nyungwe forest. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel.



Breakfast and then head out to track the chimpanzees. You may have a chance to view their daily activities such as when they wake up, where they sleep and how they sleep. In the afternoon, head out in search of the colobus monkeys which can be seen feeding on wild figs and jumping from branch to branch. Full board at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel.



In the morning enjoy a nature walk while in the afternoon take in a canopy walk where you will see countless butterflies, orchids and breathtaking scenery. Full board at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel.



In the morning, enjoy a tour of the Kamiranzovu waterfalls found in the Kamiranzovu swamp. The waterfall has two sections ,the lower part drops at about 50 meters that makes permanent mist down the rocks and the second section forms a pool of water that reflect the greenery vegetation which lies on big rocks with a unique spot for visitors to take incredible photography. In the morning enjoy a bird-walk in the forest, that is one of the seven important birding areas found in Rwanda. Nyungwe is home to about 310 bird species and 29 are endemic to the Albertine Rift. Afternoon spent at leisure. Full board at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel.


Breakfast and then transfer to the airport and fly to Kigali. City tour followed by lunch. In the afternoon, follow the road as it climbs to the base of the majestic volcanoes, with spectacular views across the five peaks. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge.



As the first light of dawn breaks through the curtain of mist clinging to the summits of Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyniyo, Gahinga and Muhabura, we make our way into the Parc National des Volcans in search of Mountain Gorillas. Tracking the gorillas through the unique vegetation can take several hours of challenging walking in wet and muddy conditions. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge.



After breakfast, head to the Park to track a habituated group of Golden Monkeys (cercopithecus mitis kandti) which are endemic to the Virungas. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge.



Leisurely breakfast at the lodge. Drive back to Kigali where you’ll have lunch and then drop off at the airport for onward flight connections.
