The tour then leads through the charming Tamboerskloof district to the colorful Cape Malay Quarter (Bo-Kaap), which delights visitors with its brightly painted houses and narrow streets. Today you continue your journey along the scenic Garden Route to Tsitsikamma National Park, a natural paradise on the rugged coast of the Eastern Cape. Weather permitting, you will take a walk to the famous Storms River Estuary, where the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean meet the dense forests of the hinterland. The national park stretches for approximately 80 kilometers along the craggy coastline with its steep cliffs, foaming surf, and dramatic ocean views. Inland, an impressive mountain landscape awaits you, with deep valleys, dense highland forests, and biodiverse mountain fynbos, crisscrossed by wild rivers and gorges. In the afternoon, you will arrive at Addo Elephant National Park, a true highlight of your trip. On your very first day, you will experience an exciting game drive in a tour vehicle. Originally established to save the region's last eleven elephants from extinction, Addo Elephant National Park is now South Africa's third-largest national park and a symbol of successful conservation efforts. Spanning over 180,000 hectares, it is home to lions, buffalo, rhinos, numerous antelope species, and around 500 elephants. This morning, you'll embark on another safari in Bellevue Forest Reserve, a private game reserve renowned for its scenic beauty and diverse wildlife. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you'll track the "Big Five" and experience the fascinating wildlife up close.
