SLF011-12 Day Vic Falls, Hwange, Kariba & Mana Pools

Upon your arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport you will be met by your transfer driver who will take you through to your lodge for the next two nights, the Victoria Falls River Lodge.

With its choice of luxury accommodation options, Victoria Falls River Lodge caters to a wide range of preferences and is the ideally located to enable guests to participate in a significant variety of leisure and recreational activities (both on and off site) or simply sit back and unwind whilst enjoying the surrounding scenery.

This afternoon we venture out on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi.  Sit back and let the gentle ebb and flow of the Zambezi lull and relax you.  Join in on Mother Nature’s Happiest Hour by sipping on a sun-downer in whilst viewing her creatures, big and small, coming to the water’s edge to lap at its liquid life under molten skies.

After breakfast you will be collected for a private tour of the falls, before returning to the lodge for lunch.

The rest of the day can be spend at leisure or partaking in one of the included activities at the lodge.

After breakfast you will be collected by your driver that will take you by road all the way to Hwange Main Camp, where you will be met by your Somalisa Guide who will transfer you the rest of the way.   The drive is approximately 2 and a half hours, depending on road conditions on the day and how often we stop.

Hwange National Park is a land of contrasts from dense teak and acacia forest to vast open savannah, offering guests an exhibition of raw and diverse Africa. Somalisa Camp is a place where tranquillity meets adventure. Where one moment you are sipping on your gin and tonic, listening to the distant baritone roar of a lion coalition off on the hunt, and the next you are gazing over at a congregation of elephants at your doorstep, peacefully sharing a sundowner with you.

Explore Hwange National Park through a variety of activities while you stay at Somalisa Camp. Activities include walking safaris, led by our qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you, game drives and cultural visits.

Another day at leisure or partaking in any of the included activities at the lodge.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Hwange Airport for your chartered flight to Matusadona National Park on the banks of lake Kariba.

Perfectly set in a remote and secluded part of the Matusadona National Park located in the heart of Lake Kariba. Boasting nearly 4km of lakeshore frontage, Changa Safari Camp offers a unique and authentic safari experience.  There are a varied range of exciting and relaxing activities to choose from including both morning and afternoon game drives, fishing for the famed fighting Tiger fish and stunning game walks on the concession with an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

There are several activities at Changa Safari Camp, providing guests with a choice of how they wish to spend their day. From early morning game walks, fishing for the famed fighting tiger fish and photographing wildlife whilst on a game drive – these are just a few of the adventures on offer.

For those that want to take some time out to relax, you do not have to venture too far from camp to see wildlife as there are regular visitors including elephants, bush babies, monkeys, squirrels and on the rare occasion, a resident leopard.

There are several activities at Changa Safari Camp, providing guests with a choice of how they wish to spend their day. From early morning game walks, fishing for the famed fighting tiger fish and photographing wildlife whilst on a game drive – these are just a few of the adventures on offer.

For those that want to take some time out to relax, you do not have to venture too far from camp to see wildlife as there are regular visitors including elephants, bush babies, monkeys, squirrels and on the rare occasion, a resident leopard.

After breakfast you will be taken to the airstrip for your charter flight to Mana Pools National Park, Ruckomechi Camp.

Situated in a large private concession in the heart of the Zambezi Valley’s Mana Pools National Park, Ruckomechi looks out from the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. It is a remote, beautiful place with spectacular views of the broad flowing river, the adjacent woodland and the mountains of the Rift Valley escarpment.

Today is spend at leisure and you can partake in one or more of the many activities on offer at the camp.  Canoe the might river; Catch a Tiger; Walk in the footsteps of giants; game drives; river cruises or sleep out under the stars.

After breakfast you will be taken to the airstrip for your chartered flight to Harare where your tour comes to an end.
