COVID-19: ACTIVITIES & SERVICES

Day 1: Windhoek

On arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport and after clearing customs & immigration, you will be met and assisted by a  representative for your overnight in the Capital City of Windhoek. 

Day 2: Sossusvlei

This morning an early wake up, and transfer to Eros Airport, where you will board a light aircraft to Wilderness Little Kulala.

Day 3: Sossusvlei

Eleven luxury desert suites expanded to offer improved airflow, each have a private plunge pool, private rooftop area for sundowners, "African tapas" and other rooftop dinners or stargazing, a signature sleep-out experience on the bottom deck of each accommodation to allow for easy access during the night, luxury fittings, as well as indoor and outdoor showers. In terms of color and form, Wilderness Little Kulala blends seamlessly into the desert landscape with interiors reflecting the environment. Activities make the most of the solitude and stark beauty of the Namib Desert, with nature drives and guided walks revealing the majesty and mystery of the Namib Sand Sea.

Day 4: Swakopmund

This morning you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Swakopmund. Check into the Beach Hotel and enjoy the next three nights at leisure exploring this charming seaside town. 

Days 5 - 6: Swakopmund

Enjoy the days at leisure exploring the highlights of this Germanic Seaside Town. 

Day 7: Hoanib River

This morning an early transfer Swakopmund Airport, to hop back on the plane for a scenic flight onward to Hoanib Valley Camp, over the dramatic Skeleton Coast and then inland to the beautiful interior of the country.

Day 8: Hoanib River

Spend today looking for desert-adapted giraffes, game driving through the sandy terrain or visiting the local Himba communities.

Wildlife

Valley are fascinating to watch, and you may also be lucky enough to spot desert lion and rhino. One certainty, however, is the desert-adapted giraffe. The icons of the area, they are also the focus of our conservation partners, Giraffe Conservation Foundation.

Day 9: Skeleton Coast

Get ready to enjoy the best transfer drive on the continent! You’ll pass incredible rock formations and desert-elephant digging for water, before arriving at the crashing waves and rolling dunes of the Skeleton Coast. 

Days 10 - 11: Skeleton Coast

Enjoy your time at the award-winning Shipwreck Lodge. Activities on offer include quad biking, visits to the Clay Castle and seal colony and game drives – or you may like to just put your feet up and admire the views.

Wildlife

At Shipwreck Lodge, expect giraffe, lion, baboons, elephant and elusive brown hyena in the dunes, whilst at the coast you’ll find hundreds of Cape fur seals at the Mowe Bay Seal Colony, and plenty of birds flitting through the chilly ocean spray.

Day 12: End of Itinerary

This morning you’ll meet the plane and fly back down the stunning Atlantic Coastline, before arriving back in Windho
