Day notes

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met on arrival and shown through the VIP lounge while completing the immigration process. Upon collecting your luggage and clearing customs, you will be met by a dmAFRICA representative who will escort you to your waiting vehicle and driver for the transfer to your overnight accommodation at the Protea Hotel Entebbe. The transfer time will take you approximately 5 minutes. (NOTE: As in all airports in the World, at times of heightened security, including visits by Heads of State etc., our Fast Track intentions may be adapted to suit the situation of the day).

You depart from the Protea Hotel Entebbe this morning at around 06:00, heading to the nearby Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be connecting with your scheduled service flight to the Kisoro Airstrip. This flight departs at 07:00 and arriving into Kisoro at 08:20 (NOTE: Luggage allowance is strictly 15 kilograms per person in soft sided bags). On arrival into the Kisoro Airstrip, you’ll be met by your vehicle and driver from the Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, which will transfer you by road to Clouds for your overnight arrangements, this transfer will take approximately 2 hours. Clouds is considered by most to be the best property in Uganda! In the afternoon, you can relax and unwind with your views over the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, or you can opt to enjoy a community walk through the local village!

This morning, you depart from Clouds at approximately 06:00, heading by road to the Kisoro Airstrip, connecting with the scheduled service flight departing at 08:30 and landing into Entebbe International Airport at 11:25. From Entebbe, you’ll be connecting with your scheduled service flight to Nairobi on flight KQ 413 to Nairobi. Flight KQ 413 departs at 13:25 and lands into Nairobi at 14:35. Upon your arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on flight KQ 413, you will be met by your ground handlers, who will be holding a board with your name on it to provide you with VIP meet and greet.

In the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be assisted with baggage collection and through customs procedures, after which you will be escorted to your waiting private charter aircraft, a Cessna C208 that will be flying you to the Finch Hatton Airstrip. Upon your arrival into the Finch Hatton Airstrip, you will be met by your open sided 4x4 vehicle with driver guide from Finch Hatton’s, that will be transferring you the short distance to the camp. After lunch, in the afternoon, you’ll be heading out into the Tsavo West National Park for an exciting afternoon of game activities in your open sided 4x4 vehicle with professional driver guide (NOTE: Your private Cessna C208 flight has a maximum payload of 600 kilograms, inclusive of luggage, passenger and pilot weight)

Your overnight arrangements will be at Finch Hatton’s on a full board basis in your luxury tented suites.

At Finch Hatton’s you’ll be enjoying two full days of game activities with your open sided 4x4 vehicle with professional driver guide in search of the wildlife that inhabits the Tsavo West National Park. Overnight, you’ll be staying at Finch Hatton’s on a full board basis in your luxury tented suite.

After breakfast at Finch Hatton’s, you’ll be transferred by road to the Tsavo West Airstrip. From the Tsavo West Airstrip, you will be connecting with the scheduled service flight to the Nairobi Wilson Airport. This flight departs at 08:30 and will land into Nairobi at 09:50. In Nairobi, you’ll connect with the flight to the Keekorok Airstrip in the Masai Mara, departing at 10:00 and landing into Keekorok at 11:00.

On arrival at the Keekorok Airstrip at 11:00 your Cottars 1920’s Safari Camp vehicle and driver guide will meet you and you’ll be transferred to Cottar’s where you’ll check in and enjoy lunch! After lunch, you will head out into Cottar’s Private Conservancy for game activities with your Cottar’s open sided 4x4 vehicle and driver guide. The conservancy is part of the Masai Mara ecosystem which is famous around the world for its abundant resident game!

Day notes

You will be enjoying three full days of game activities in the Masai Mara ecosystem in your Cottar’s open sided 4x4 vehicle with driver guide. Game activities at Cottar’s may be shared with other guests.

Overnight you’ll be staying at Cottar’s 1920’s Safari Camp on a full board basis in your luxury tent.

After breakfast at Cottars 1920’s Camp, you’ll have the morning at your leisure. After which, you’ll depart the camp and be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip where you’ll connect with the scheduled service flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, with this flight departing at 11:00 and landing into Nairobi at 12:20. From the Nairobi Wilson Airport, you’ll connect with the scheduled service flight to the Loisaba Airstrip, departing at 13:00 and landing into Loisaba at 14:25

On arrival at the Loisaba Airstrip, you’ll be met by a vehicle and driver from the Ol Malo House for your transfer to your accommodation, the journey taking approximately 40 minutes.

At Ol Malo House you will be staying in the Crocodile Cottage. In the afternoon you’ll be heading out for game activities within the Ol Malo Conservancy with your private open sided 4x4 vehicle with professional driver guide! Ol Malo is about more than just the game, it immerses you with the local community, the Samburu people. This is not in a cosmetic way, but really in the Samburu’s day to day activities! When you arrive at Ol Malo House, you will be met by Andrew and Chyulu Francombe, the owner managers of Ol Malo who will discuss with you the sort of program available to you and devise a provisional daily event schedule involving the activities and others mentioned.

Whilst at Ol Malo, you will enjoy two full days of activities. These can include:

-Game drives in your private open sided 4x4 vehicle either during the day or during the night

-Nature walks

-Horse riding

-Camel riding

-Mountain biking

-Run with a Samburu Moran (warrior)

-Educational experiences with the Samburu tribe and the Ol Malo Trust projects

-A night under the stars in the tree house, or sleeping below the cliffs in the leopard hide with flood lit views of the waterhole

-Swimming in the river, complete with a mud fight if you want to, or just to enjoy the swimming pool perched high on the cliff, boasting breath-taking views!

-Night in the tree house/hide

NOTE: The above options are flexible, so you can opt to spend a night in the leopard hide, or do any other activity on any of the days you want. The choice is completely yours where & how you wish to spend your time at Ol Malo House

Overnight you’ll be staying at Ol Malo House in the Crocodile Cottage on a full board basis on a full board basis.

After breakfast at Ol Malo House, you check out of your room at 10:00, leaving your luggage with reception, before you will be transferred to the Loisaba Airstrip, the journey taking approximately 40 minutes. From the Loisaba Airstrip, you will be connecting with the scheduled service flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, departing at 11:55 and landing into Nairobi at 13:15. On arrival into the Nairobi Wilson Airport, you’ll be transferred by road to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the journey taking approximately 45 minutes, where you will be connecting with your onward international arrangements.
