Day 1: Windhoek

On arrival into Windhoek International Airport you will be met and transferred by road to The Weinberg Hotel.

Day 2: NamibRand Nature Reserve

Today your guide will collect you from the hotel and you will start your journey to the Namib Rand Nature Reserve where you will stay at Kwessi Dunes.

Day 3: NamibRand Nature Reserve

  • Morning and afternoon scenic drives in the striking NamibRand Nature Reserve
  • Nature walks

Day 4: Swakopmund

Today you will depart Kwessi and head north to Solitaire, then crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, through the Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons via the gravel plains to the Swakopmumd where you will stay at The Strand Hotel.

Day 5: Swakopmund

Swakopmund is more than just a quaint coastal town on the Skeleton Coast, it is the adventure centre of Namibia. Desert tours, sea kayaking and scenic flights are complimented by a host of adventure activities including quad biking, paragliding, sandboarding and skydiving. Certainly one of the best, and most unusual, places to visit in Namibia.

Day 6: Twyfelfontein

Today you will depart Swakopmund. Head north along the Skeleton Coast, via Henties Bay to visit the Cape Cross seal colony. Along the way, stop at the Lichen Fields as well as the ship wreck between the colourful small town of Wlotskasbaken and Henties Bay.

Backtrack to Henties Bay and head inland through wide open plains to Uis, then north to the Twyfelfontein area where you will stay at Mowani Mountain Camp.

Day 7: Twyfelfontein

Visit Namibia's Open Air Museum: The Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings as well as the interesting Organ Pipes rock formations and Burnt Mountain.

Take a drive with your guide, west to the Huab River to look for the desert adapted elephants as well as other game such as oryx, springbok, ostrich and more.

Day 8: Ongava Private Game Reserve

After breakfast, drive east towards Khorixas stopping at the Petrified Forest en-route.

From Khorixas head further east along the tar road to Outjo and then north to the Ongava Game Reserve which is situated very close to the southern entrance of Etosha, the Andersson Gate.

You will stay at Encounter by Ongava.

Day 9: Ongava Private Game Reserve

Activities include game drives into Etosha, spending time in the camp hide, and nature drives and walks on the reserve. Ongava has resident white and black rhino, giving guests staying at Ongava the opportunity to see both species.

Day 10: Onguma Nature Reserve

Depart Ongava and drive across the park to the Eastern side. From one side to the other side of the park is a full day game drive as you drive slowly east stopping at numerous waterholes along the way.

Arrive at Onguma where you will stay at Onguma Camp Kala.

Day 11: Onguma Nature Reserve

Activities include Etosha guided safaris, sunset drives in the Onguma Reserve, guided interpretive bush walks, and massage therapy at the Onguma Sanctuary. The new, water-level Onkolo hide offers many photographic opportunities and allows guests to calmly sit and enjoy nature unobserved. Guests can also have a sleep-out in a custom built Land Cruiser, featuring a bathroom downstairs and bedroom with lounge area upstairs. Some activities may incur an additional cost.

Day 12: Otjiwa Reserve

Depart Onguma. Head south via Otavi and Otjiwarongo to Otjiwa, which is the oldest private game farm in Namibia, and offers about 25 different game species, this includes the White Rhino, Sable and Roan.

You will stay at Otjiwa Mountain Lodge.

Enjoy many of the optional activities like sundowner drive, game walks, rhino tracking and night drives.

Day 13: End of Itinerary

Early morning rise for a quick snack before joining an optional morning activity

Head back to Windhoek where your guide will drop you off in time for your departure flight.
