After your scrumptious breakfast, proceed to the foyer of the hotel where you will be met for the start of your Scheduled Half Day City & Table Mountain Tour.
Our drive through the city centre takes us past famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope built in 1666 by the Dutch East India Company, City Hall, a baroque building, and the Grand Parade. As we follow the city’s main thoroughfare, Adderley Street, we will see St. George’s Cathedral, the Anglican Diocese of Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
We will pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter [also known as the Bo-Kaap] with its colourful houses. In the early 18th century, thousands of slaves from Java, Ceylon and other Far Eastern regions were brought to Cape Town. After slavery was abolished, their descendants, known as the Cape Malay’s, settled here.
Continue to join a sparkling tour, witness the art of diamond cutting; the careful craftsmanship of jewellery manufacturing by skilled experts and discover the history of the Diamond and Gold Trade in South Africa.
You will be offered the option of continuing to Table Mountain, where you can ascend to the top [weather permitting] by revolving cable car. See wildflowers, the famous silver tree, and marvel at a birds-eye view of the city and its beaches. On a clear day it is even possible to see Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on one side and Cape Point on the other.
After your scrumptious breakfast, proceed to the foyer of the hotel where you will be met for the start of your Scheduled Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour.
Bring your camera; we're headed for Cape Point at the southwestern tip of the Cape Peninsula, and the most spectacular views in the world. The drive there is just as inspiring, passing steep mountains', secluded coves and sweeping beaches, as well as villages and fishing communities.
Our tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay with its glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. We'll drive past the fishing village of Hout Bay, to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, comprising over 17,300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here we can see a variety of wildlife that includes baboons, Reebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok and the elusive eland. The reserve is also one of the world's largest breeding grounds for tortoises. Birdwatchers, too, will find many fine species to observe.
The majestic coastline offers drama worthy of being called "Nature's Greatest Show." We'll be able to see the union of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans (as per legend) and may even feel the brisk wind that is dubbed the "Cape Doctor" for its presumed curative powers.
Following the coastline along False Bay, we'll return to Cape Town by way of Simon's Town, where we visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (for own account) and Fish Hoek fishing village.
We return to Cape Town, passing the University of Cape Town, Rhodes Memorial, and the Groote Schuur Hospital.
After breakfast, we depart the “Mother City” and travel along the Route 62, famous for wine and port tastings (for own account), before reaching Oudtshoorn a small town in the Klein Karoo.
Oudtshoorn also known as the "Ostrich Capital of the World".
Time permitting, there may be an opportunity to visit one of the many farmstalls (padstals) offering locally farmed produce, pastries etc

Upon arrival in Oudtshoorn in the late afternoon, time to check in and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
After breakfast, depart the hotel to enjoy a full day exploring in Oudtshoorn.
The first still will be at the famous Cango Caves.
Continue to an Ostrich Farm to learn more about these beautiful birds.
Here one will also have the opportunity to enjoy some lunch (for own account)
Our last stop will take us to the Cango Wildlife Range before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, we depart the little Karoo town of Oudtshoorn and continue the journey to the quaint fisherman town of Hermanus, where we overnight for a one night at the Hermanus Boutique Guest House.

Hermanus is rich in breath-taking scenery; with its unparalleled scenic beauty, modern infrastructure, upmarket shops and endless adventure options, it is no wonder that Hermanus is transformed into a bustling hubbub of activity in-season as well as out-of-season. For any intrepid tourist or appreciator of nature's wonders, Hermanus is the ideal location for an unforgettable experience.
It is built along the beautiful shores of Walker Bay and is the official Whale Watching Capital of the World as well as a popular holiday destination. Hermanus is surrounded by majestic mountains, indigenous Fynbos and spectacular natural beauty while its residents are the heart and soul of the town providing an unforgettable holiday experience. This coastal resort offers the best land-based whale watching in the world. The Southern Right Whales visit Walker Bay from July until December every year. About 60 to 100 of these magnificent animals come here from Antarctica to breed and rear their young. Tourists are often treated with close-up displays as these creatures often come to within 10 meters of the coast.
After breakfast, we depart the coastal town of Hermanus and travel along the N2 over Sir Lowry’s Pass to the second oldest town of South Africa, Stellenbosch where we enjoy a one-night stay at Hotel Krige.
En route to Stellenbosch you will enjoy two wine tastings.
