Day 1: New Delhi

Check in for your flight to Delhi via Singapore. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: New Delhi

After the breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you for a guided sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. This tour includes a visit to the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, one of the country’s largest mosques, continue on to Chandni Chowk (Silver Street), famous for its colourful bazaars including a Rickshaw Ride. Your next stop will be Raj Ghat , the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi followed by Birla Mandir, which is a Hindu Temple. You will then continue on to India Gate, a 42 meter high war memorial. The last 3 stops will be at Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House), Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar – a 73 m high victory tower.

Day 3: Agra

After breakfast you will be assisted with check out before starting your journey to Agra. The drive from Delhi to Agra will be via the new Express way, one of India’s finest highways.

Day 4: Agra

After breakfast, you will enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Agra which includes a visit to the Taj Mahal – perhaps the world’s most extravagant monument of love, built as far back as the mid 1600’s by Shahjehan in memory of his wife Mumtaz. Also visit Agra Fort which is a massive red sandstone fort set on the banks of the Yamuna River, built almost 500 years ago by the Mughal. Finish the tour with a visit to Sikandra, a red sand stone tomb of the Mughal emperor Akbar and Itimad-ud-daulah. It is also known as Baby Taj, for its striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal.

Day 5: Sawai Madhopur

After a relaxed breakfast you will start your trip to Ranthambore. En-route you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri for a guided tour of the deserted capital of Emperor Akbar approximately. Built in the 16th century, this city was abandoned 12 years later due to a scarcity of water.

After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the drive takes a twirl to Ranthambore. Upon arrival check into your hotel.

Day 6: Sawai Madhopur

Today you will enjoy morning and afternoon game safaris into the Ranthambore National Park accompanied by an English speaking Naturalist. Game drives in Ranthambore are conducted using 4WD vehicles.

The day begins early with a morning game safari into the Ranthambore National Park, accompanied by an English speaking naturalist.

Return to the lodge for a relaxing breakfast. You will then drive to Jaipur.

Day 8: Jaipur

After breakfast you will enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur and Amber. Sightseeing in Jaipur includes a visit to the Amber Fort, located 11 kms away from Jaipur. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an excellent illustration of Rajput architecture, impressively situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Here you mount an Elephant, to get to the top of the Fort. You will also visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds), the facade of which is all pink windows and filigree screens. Continue on to City Palace, still the home of the former royalty. This Palace still has an extensive collection of art, carpets and old weapons. Your final visit of the day will be to the Jantar Mantar (Observatory), the largest and best preserved 18th century stone observatory.

Day 10: Jaisalmer

Enjoy breakfast before your guided sightseeing tour of Jodhpur which includes a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort, considered by many as the most impressive fort in Rajasthan. It towers above the blue city of Jodhpur and has several commemorative structures built to celebrate the Marwar rulers' victories over various enemies. Inside the fort is a series of courtyards and palaces, as well as the Jodhpur Museum, which houses an exquisite collection of palanquins, howdahs, royal cradles, miniatures, musical instruments, costumes and furniture. The ramparts of the fort are home to not only several excellently preserved old cannon (including the famous Kilkila) but also offer a breath-taking view of the city. Later visit the Jaswant Thaada, a white marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The tour ends with an interesting walk around the colourful Sadar market and the Clock Tower.

After your sightseeing tour, you will then start your drive to Jaisalmer, your home for the next two nights.

Day 11: Jaisalmer

Enjoy breakfast before heading off for a guided sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer which includes a visit to the Jaisalmer Fort standing atop the 80 metre high Trikuta Hill. The fort is surrounded by 3 walls and features 99 bastions. Over the centuries the golden sandstone fortress witnessed many battles between the Bhattis, the Mughals and the Rathores of Jodhpur. It is considered the oldest living Fort in the World, with over 5000 inhabitants within its 4 walls. Within the Fort, you also visit the beautifully carved Jain Temples and the slightly less ornate Hindu Laxminath Temple, with its interesting dome that exhibits fine paintings. The tour also includes visits to the nearby Havelis, or merchant’s homes and the Gadi Sagar Tank, once the source of water supply to the city, surrounded by shrines and temples.

A trip to Jaisalmer is incomplete without a visit to the panoramic Dunes of Sam. Just outside the city of Jaisalmer the wind unceasingly carves out scenic patterns on this desert Sand. Truly the essence of the desert, the ripples of the Dunes create an enchanting mirage, that stretches for miles and miles. The tour includes a short camel ride, which coupled with the brilliant sunset over the dunes, is a thrilling experience.

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before your guided sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The tour includes a visit to the City Palace, the major parts of the palace are now well-maintained as a museum with an enormous collection of glass, ceramic figures and small canvases. Next stop will be Jagdish Temple. This temple treasures a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of the universe. A brass image of Garuda the Hindu divinity is in a monument in front of the temple. Continue on to Saheliyon Ki Bari or the garden of the Maids of Honor, a small exquisite garden with fountains, stone elephants and a beautiful lotus pond. An enchanting way to end your day in Udaipur is by taking a beautiful boat ride on Lake Pichola in the evening when the City palace in the background unites with the sparkling lake water. This lake is fenced by hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and ridges.
