Day 1: Galapagos Islands

Begin your journey after landing at Baltra Airport and heading to the harbor of Baltra where you will board Yacht Angelito. After lunch, the experience will start at North Seymour, arriving at its rocky coast, where you will watch sea lions, swallow tailed gulls, sally light foot crabs and marine iguanas. You begin with a trail that will lead you to the nesting area of colonies of blue footed bobbies and frigate birds. Return to the yacht and dinner.

Day 2: Galapagos Islands

Early breakfast and navigation to Chinese Hat Islet, located off the coast of Santiago Island. This small volcanic cone is named for its distinctive shape, resembling a traditional Chinese hat. A wet landing will take place on a beautiful white sand beach, where you can observe sea lions and coastal wildlife. The walk will lead you through lava formations and offer great opportunities to spot marine iguanas and Galapagos penguins. Lunch onboard. In the afternoon, continue to Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island, an area famous for its extensive lava flows formed by relatively recent volcanic activity. You will explore the lava fields on foot and have time for swimming or snorkeling along the shoreline, where rays, turtles, and reef fish are often seen. Return onboard in the late afternoon to relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 3: Galapagos Islands

After breakfast, head to Isla Genovesa - Darwin Bay, and land on a small beach made of coral sand. You will see red mangrove along the coast and a prickly cactus that only grows on Genovesa. You will also see swallow tailed gulls and red footed boobies, along with frigate birds. Lunch onboard. You continue your journey to Prince Philip steps, which offer the possibility to climb the steep basaltic cliff, and a trail that leads to a small nesting colony of masked boobies and crosses a dense forest of palo santo. You may also see small petrels and short eared owls. Return to the yacht and dinner.

Day 4: Galapagos Islands

The day begins at Puerto Egas, with the wet landing on a black beach, then you take a trail to see Galapagos sea lions and marine iguanas. And at the turning point of the trail you will watch a Galapagos fur seal colony. Lunch on board. Continue your activities at Rabida Island, that looks red due to containing ferric oxide of the lava and its recent formation. Here you will see one of the biggest Galapagos sea lion colony, and also a small lagoon with flamingos and white cheeked pintail ducks.

Day 5: Galapagos Islands

Continue you journey at Santa Cruz Island, where you will visit the Charles Darwin Research stations, to learn about the scientific work taking place in the National Park. You will also observe the Galapagos tortoises up close. After lunch, you will drive up the highlands on a bus in Santa Cruz, where you will see the transition between different vegetation from the arid to transition zone. Visit Rancho Primicias, a farm in the highlands to look out for the Galapagos Tortoises in their natural habitat. Return to the cruise and dinner.

Day 6: Galapagos Islands

The next day, after an early breakfast, you will visit Española Island, that is one of the oldest of Galapagos Archipelago. A great number of endemic species can be found here. Here, you will go to Playa Gardner, a white beach made of coral sand, that it´s a good place to observe finches and mockingbirds. You will also have the possibility to swim and snorkel from the beach. Lunch on board. Then, you will go to Punta Suarez that consist of a rocky trail where you will see Española marine iguana and Galapagos Sea Lions. This trail leads to the nesting colonies of blue footed boobies, Nazca boobies and albatross. Return to the cruise and dinner.

Day 7: Yacht Angelito I

After breakfast the wet landing takes place on a beach with a big sea lion colony, and a short trail that leads you through dry vegetation to a wonderful forested cliff. You will have the opportunity to see the endemic land iguana of Santa Fe. After lunch on board, you will land at South Plaza, a small uplifted island with a 25 meters high cliff. You will see a big colony of Galapagos sea lions in the northern coast, and you will also watch the pear cactus trees and a big colony of land iguanas. Return to the cruise and dinner.

Day 8: End of Itinerary

At the beginning of the last day you will go into the big protected mangrove cove, and once the motor of the dinghy is turned off, you may observe the marine turtles. You may also spot eagle rays, golden rays and white –tipped reef sharks. At the end of the cruise, you will leave the Angelito in the harbor of Baltra, and be transferred to the airport to board your plane back to the continent.
