Visit Pisac Archaeological Site and Calca Market
Begin your journey in the highlands above the Sacred Valley, where the ancient archaeological site of Pisac unfold across the mountainside. Once a significant ceremonial and agricultural centre, Pisac is home to the only remaining Inca sun dial outside of Machu Picchu. As you explore its temples and terraces, the panoramic views over the valley below are nothing short of extraordinary.
Continue to the charming andean town of Calca, nestled at the foot of the eastern range. Its lively market offers a vivid glimpse into everyday life, with stalls overflowing with local produce, herbs, and flowers — a timeless meeting place where tradition and exchange come alive.

Culture & Tradition in Maras and Moray
Tradition weaves itself into every corner of Maras, a highland town where heritage lives on through craft, flavour, and identity. Visit the families who have perfected the art of traditional hat-making for generations — where each mould is carved by hand and every detail tells stories of pride, rivalry and deep cultural roots.
While in the area, take time to explore the extraordinary circular terraces of Moray and the gleaming salt ponds of Maras, still worked by hand as they have been for centuries. This day is a journey through memory, landscape, and ancestral craft — a quiet immersion into the richness of the Sacred Valley.

Explore Machu Picchu
Meet your guide at the exit of the train station or in the lobby of your hotel for a short walk to the bus station and a 20-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu Citadel (elevation: 8,000 ft. – 2,432 m.a.s.l.). Scratching the surface of the heavens from its place atop the grandest of mountaintop pedestals, it is easy to lose yourself in the mystique and grandeur of this enigmatic citadel. Soak in the energy and atmosphere of one of the most significant archeological sites on the planet while your guide helps you uncover the secrets behind key areas of interest such as the Sun Dial, the Guard House, the Sacred Plaza and the Temple of the Sun.

Conquering Machu Picchu Mountain (with local guide)
Begin with a short walk from your hotel and a scenic bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu Citadel, located at 2,432 metres above sea level. Accompanied by your local guide, follow the trail to Machu Picchu Mountain—a medium to challenging hike that ascends steadily along well-laid stone steps, some of which align with the ancient Inca Trail. Entry is subject to availability, with the early 7–8 am slot selected unless you request otherwise.
Allow up to two hours to reach the summit, where sweeping views over Machu Picchu and the surrounding valleys reward your effort—a rare vantage point from which to grasp the sheer scale and beauty of the Andes. The descent takes around ninety minutes, completing an active and enriching morning in one of the world’s most iconic mountain sanctuaries.

Highlights of Cusco and San Blas
Uncover the many layers of Cusco’s identity on a walk through its storied streets. From the graceful architecture around the Main Square to the artisan soul of San Blas, this journey reveals how civilisations have shaped, overlapped, and echoed through time.
Your guide will share insights into temples turned churches, Inca paths that still pulse beneath the city, and how San Blas evolved from a sacred place of creation into a haven for artists and thinkers — a transformation still visible in its studios and cobbled lanes.
