Day 1: Moremi Game Reserve

Meet & greet at Maun airport  then  escorted to your charter where you will  enjoy the scenic flight  over the Okavango Delta  to  Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas .  Your guide will be waiting at the airstrip  then you  do the sundowner on the way to camp .For the next two days will be searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for, while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. 

  • Meet  and greet at Maun Airport then do scenic flight on the way to  Khwai air strip
  • Afternoon game drive/sundowner on the way to camp

Day 4: Savuti - Chobe National Park

After breakfast we will head into the heart of Chobe National Park,Savuti. As we continue our search for wildlife, we will traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains. Savuti is very well known for its predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and even African wild dog. The Savuti Channel has started flowing again after being dry for the last 30 years. The arrival of water is changing the landscape as well as accommodating different species which historically have not been able to survive in the rather arid plains of Savuti. This exciting development has allowed large breeding herds of elephant as well as buffalo to visit the area.

Day 5: Savuti - Chobe National Park

  • Brunch at camp and rest 
  • Afternoon tea and depart for an afternoon game drive  and sundowner

Day 6: Savuti - Chobe National Park

Day 7: Chobe National Park

Depart after breakfast  to Kasane town which is a gateway to Chobe National Park, situated on the banks of the mighty beautiful Chobe River, Chobe River being in Chobe National Park which originates in Angola and flows through to Mozambique, all the while changing names through the different countries.

You will have your lunch inside the  park  and do the sunset cruise to experience the park and the animals from another vantage point. You will get up close and personal with hippos, crocodiles and a mind-boggling array of water birds. These are where you will see the Sedudu Island and not forgetting the great sunset.

  • Morning wake up call and morning  game  drive
  • Depart to Kasane and have your picnic lunch inside the park and start your afternoon  sunset cruise
  • Transfer to Lucky Bush camp (situated in Kasane Forest in between Chobe National Park and Zambezi (animals transiting between the two parks)
  • Dinner at the  Lucky Bush Camp

Day 8: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After breakfast you will be transferd  to  Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) to then visit another World Heritage  " the thunderous Vic-Falls where a host of pulsating excursion activities await. These include   water rafting down the Zambezi gorge, canoeing on the upper Zambezi, Elephant rides and helicopter flight over Vic-falls among others. The curio market also situated in Victoria Falls offers fine pieces of art which make for good souvenirs to take back home.

 

  • Transfer after breakfast to Vic Falls
  • Guided tour  Falls tour , another UNESCO World Heritage Site, from many different viewpoints including the entrance fee
  • Optional 15 minutes helicopter ride above the Falls.(guests to decide and to pay)
  • Dinner at the Boma which is a traditional Zimbabwean restaurant at 19:00 hrs. Meal includes servings of African Wildlife such as eland, springbok, wart hog, gemsbok and other delicacies. Entertainment is local native dancers and drummers. Towards the end of the evening, drums are handed out to the guests and they drum in competition with each other.

Day 9: End of Itinerary

  • Full breakfast 
  • Optional activities(based on the flight departure time
  • Drop off at Vic Falls  airport
