Day 1: Franschhoek

Today we focus on 'Paarl' or 'Pearl' as it translates from Dutch home to some of the capes best collection of wineries and one of Capes other iconic geological features "Paarlberg" the Pearl Mountain. This is also the area where the Great Nelson Mandela took his first steps to Freedom, being released from the Drakenstein correctional prison on the historic day of February 11th 1990

Day 2: Franschhoek

Today we wake up in and enjoy the wine region of Franschhoek the" French corner" so named because the arrival in the late 17th century of the French Hugenouts , whom many South Africans owe much history, as well as  gratitude for their contributions to the Cape's early wine industry

Day 3: End of Itinerary

For now we would have already been enjoying some top wines and estates, but the best is yet to come, Stellenbosch certainly makes a name for its self as  South Africa's Wine Capital! With over 100 wineries to choose from, its also South Africa's second oldest european colonial establishment, hosting a good number of our national monument and historical buildings. From whites to reds from brandy to bubbles, Stellies -as we fondly call her, seems to have it all
