Welcome to Cape Town!

Upon arrival, you'll be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist with fast-tracking you through immigration and assisting your luggage. Afterward, meet your driver in the arrivals hall for a seamless transfer in a private vehicle to Franschhoek, the Food and Wine Capital of South Africa.

Spend the rest of the day explore this quaint village. 

Day 2: Franschhoek

After breakfast, meet a guide in the hotel reception and embark on a full-day Private Wineland Tour.

Day 3: Cape Town

After breakfast, check out and meet a driver at the agreed time.

Day 4: Cape Town

After breakfast, meet a guide at the agreed time and embark on a Half-Day City & Table Mountain Tour: Morning

Start your day with an exploration of Cape Town’s vibrant history and stunning landscapes on this half-day guided tour. The journey begins with a visit to the colorful Malay Quarter (Bo-Kaap), where the brightly painted houses and cobblestone streets offer a glimpse into the city’s rich cultural heritage.

Next, head to the iconic Table Mountain. Take in the breathtaking views of the city and coastline as you ascend the mountain by cable car (ticket not included). If the weather permits, you'll be rewarded with panoramic vistas that stretch across the entire Cape Peninsula.

The tour continues with a scenic drive past Cape Town’s most historic landmarks, including the Parliament Buildings, City Hall, and the Slave Lodge, offering insight into South Africa's past. Stroll through the serene Company Gardens, a green oasis in the heart of the city.

If time allows, you’ll also visit the Castle of Good Hope, South Africa’s oldest surviving colonial building, before stopping at a diamond cutter, where you can learn about the craftsmanship behind one of the country’s most famous exports.

Day 5: Cape Town

After breakfast, meet a guide at the agreed time and embark on a Full-Day Cape Peninsula Tour

Embark on a breathtaking journey around the Cape Peninsula, one of the most scenic routes in the world. Your adventure begins with a drive along the stunning Chapman's Peak Drive (subject to road conditions), a coastal road that winds along sheer cliffs, offering awe-inspiring views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged coastline.

The tour continues to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, where you’ll explore the dramatic landscapes of the Cape of Good Hope. Standing at this famous landmark, you’ll feel the raw beauty of nature as the waves crash against the rocky shores. Take a short hike or funicular ride (optional) to the old lighthouse at Cape Point, where you can enjoy panoramic views of where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.

After soaking in the natural splendor, head to Boulders Beach to visit the world-famous African Penguin Colony. Watch these charming, endangered creatures up close as they waddle along the beach or swim in the clear waters (entrance fee not included).

Enjoy a comfortable transfer in a private vehicle to Cape Town Airport, where you will board your scheduled flight to Kasane, Botswana.  (Flight not included in the above price).

On arrival, you will be met and transferred across the border to the Chobe Princess. 

Day 1 : Embarkation | Welcome Cocktail & Dinner

Upon arrival at the Kasane Immigration Office, you will be warmly greeted by a dedicated Zambezi Queen Collection representative, who will provide assistance with your luggage and guide you through the passport control process. You’ll then take a boat transfer to the Chobe Princess, where you will be welcomed with an introduction and a delectable lunch on board. Lunch is available until 14h00 and guests arriving later will be served a mid-afternoon snack. The afternoon is free for leisure activities, or if time permits, you can join a late afternoon river safari. In the evening, savour a delicious 3-course dinner, after which you can truly unwind and enjoy the serene African night.

Day 9: Chobe Princess By Mantis

Day 2 : Chobe River Safaris by Boat

Experience the convenience of our flexible activity schedule allowing you and fellow guests onboard to choose the timing for three two-hour activities each day. Options include: guided water-based game viewing, birding, fishing, cultural tour and photographic safaris.

Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea served from 06h00 on the upper deck. Early mornings are perfect for activities like Tiger fishing or birding excursions. Back on board, indulge in a hearty buffet breakfast from 08h00. After breakfast, immerse yourself in the local culture with a village tour, followed by a scenic game cruise along Chobe National Park aboard a tender boat. Indulge in a delicious onboard lunch and take time to relax by the splash pool or dive into a good book. Later in the day, revel in the panoramic surroundings with another thrilling tender boat safari. End your day with a mouth-watering dinner on the upper deck, embracing the serene African ambiance.

Day 10: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Day 3 : Disembark

Start your morning with fresh juice or a freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea. Be on the lookout for wildlife as you enjoy a morning cruise during your buffet breakfast. Prepare to disembark the Chobe Princess for passport control. 

Meet your driver at the jetty and continue onto Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

Victoria Falls, is known as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. 

For Australian passport holders, a visa is required to enter Zimbabwe, and it can easily be obtained on arrival for just US$30 per person (payable in cash).

Day 11: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After a leisurely breakfast,  meet your knowledgeable guide in the hotel reception. Embark on a  Private Guided Tour of Victoria Falls, where you’ll explore this stunning natural wonder up close.

As you stroll along the scenic pathways, your guide will share fascinating insights into the history, geology, and cultural significance of the Falls. You’ll witness the thundering cascades of water plunging over the edge, creating a mesmerizing mist that dances in the sunlight. Listen to the roar of the water and feel the refreshing spray on your skin as you take in the breathtaking views from various vantage points.

Option to enjoy a 13-minute helicopter flight over the falls. Strap in and soar above the cascading waters, where you’ll experience a bird’s-eye view of this natural marvel. The vast expanse of the Zambezi River and the lush landscape surrounding the falls unfold beneath you, creating an unforgettable panorama that will leave you in awe.

This afternoon you will be collect from your guesthouse and transferred to the  jetty, embark on an afternoon sunset cruise on the Zambezi River

Day 12: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Upon arrival, collect your luggage and meet your driver in the arrivals hall for a seamless transfer to the prestigious Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve.

After settling into your room, savor a delightful afternoon high tea before embarking on your first-afternoon game drive, where you will have the opportunity to explore the reserve and experience its remarkable wildlife up close.

A typical day on safari 

Morning: Early Rise and Game Drive

  • 5:00 AM – Wake-Up Call: Rise before dawn to the sounds of the African bush. A knock on your door or a gentle phone call will wake you for your morning adventure.
  • 5:30 AM – Morning Tea/Coffee: Gather at the lodge for a light pre-drive refreshment. Enjoy tea, coffee, or juice, along with a light snack to fuel your early morning exploration.
  • 6:00 AM – Morning Game Drive: Set out in an open safari vehicle with your expert guide and tracker. The early morning is prime time for wildlife sightings, as the animals are most active. Keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—along with other incredible species like cheetah, hyena, and giraffe. Your guide will share insights on the landscape, animals, and their behaviors.
  • 8:30 AM – Bush Coffee Break: Midway through your game drive, stop in the bush for a warm drink and light snacks while taking in the surroundings of the African wilderness.
  • 9:30 AM – Return to the Lodge & Breakfast or Brunch: After an exciting morning in the bush, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast spread, featuring both continental and hot options. Relax and recharge for the day ahead.

Midday: Relaxation and Leisure

  • 11:00 AM – Leisure Time: The heat of the day is when many animals rest, and it’s a perfect time for you to do the same. Relax by the pool, take in views of the bush, or enjoy some time in your private suite. You can also join optional activities like bush walks, spa treatments, or photography sessions.
  • 1:00 PM – Bruch / Lunch: Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, often served on the terrace or in the open-air dining area. The menu may feature local flavors, seasonal ingredients, and delicious South African wines.

Afternoon: High Tea and Game Drive

  • 3:30 PM – Afternoon High Tea: Before heading out for your next game drive, gather for high tea, which includes a delightful spread of sweet and savory treats, along with tea, coffee, and other beverages.
  • 4:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive: Head out again into the wilderness as the temperatures cool down and animals become more active. This is an excellent time for spotting big cats, particularly leopards, which are famously elusive but often seen in Sabi Sand. Watch the landscape change as the sun begins to set, and look out for nocturnal species like owls and civets emerging.
  • 6:30 PM – Sundowner Stop: As the sun dips below the horizon, your guide will stop for a classic safari tradition—the sundowner. Sip on your favorite drink as you watch the African sunset, a truly unforgettable experience.
  • 7:00 PM – Return to the Lodge: After dark, return to the lodge, scanning for wildlife using spotlights to catch glimpses of creatures that are active after sunset, such as hyenas, porcupines, or even lions on the move.

Evening: Dinner and Relaxation

  • 7:30 PM – Dinner: Upon return, freshen up and prepare for a delicious dinner under the stars or in the boma (an outdoor enclosure). Enjoy a variety of gourmet dishes, featuring South African flavors, expertly paired with local wines.
  • 9:00 PM – Evening Fireside Relaxation: After dinner, unwind by the fire or in the lounge with a nightcap, swapping stories with fellow guests and listening to the sounds of the wild. On some nights, you may be treated to a traditional dance performance or storytelling session.
  • 10:00 PM – Rest and Recharge: Retreat to your luxurious suite for a well-deserved rest, lulled to sleep by the sounds of the African bush.
