Day 1: Athens

Arrival in Athens airport.  Car rental from Athens airport.  

Drive to your hotel in Athens.  

Have a private tour in Acropolis museum and Acropolis hill. Enjoy a private Athens Flavours or Greek Spirits or Wine tour in Athens centre accompanied by a foodie & wine insider. Cycling can also be arranged along with a cycling guide .

Day 2: Peloponnese

Drive from Athens to the western Peloponnese close to Ancient Olympia, an UNESCO Heritage site. The drive time from Athens is about 3h.

Visit the beautiful Mercouri Wine Estate, have a private tour with guide in Olympia ancient site and enjoy beach walks in the sand beach of Kourouta.
 

Day 3: Messinia

Drive to the Mani/Kalamata area, 2h30min drive from Pyrgos.

The area is quite remote but has some very nice places to visit and walk: Kardamili village, The House of Patrick Leigh Fermor, Gerolimenas village, Cape Tainaron (the Southern spot of continental Europe), Diros caves (a spectacular cave that can be explored by boat, 30min tour)

Day 4: Peloponnese

Drive about 2 hours and enjoy walks in Kinsterna Estate, learn about the traditional process of tsipouro (Greek spirit) or bread making, visit Monemvasia Peninsula and walk in the Medieval town and the rosins of the old castle on the top end of the rock. Hotel can provide a bicycle for cycling in the nearby area. Here there is also another winery -Tsimbides Winery- that is worth a visit. 

Day 5: Nafplio

Drive about 2 hours from Monemvasia. The most beautiful area is Porto Heli -very  green and full of private villas.

Explore with a private guide the town of Nafplio, Ancient Mycenae, the ancient Epidavros theatre. Visit Nemea wine region (30min drive) and have a tour and wine tastings in selected wineries. Top picks: Skouras and Aivalis estates. 
 

Day 6: End of Itinerary

Drive back to Athens and return your car
