Day 1: Guayaquil

 

Arrival in Guayaquil

Upon arrival at Guayaquil´s international airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Our representative will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name.   

The Quasar team is always monitoring flights. If flight schedules change, we will be waiting for you at the airport at the right time.

   

Expert tips

  • Please keep in mind that your transfer from the airport to the city of Guayaquil will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes depending on arrival time and traffic. 
  • Guayaquil’s average temperatures range from 25 Celsius (82 Fahrenheit) at night to 35 Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) on sunny days.  

Day 2: Guayaquil

 

Exploring Guayaquil 

Enjoy an overview of the city with a combination of panoramic sights and visits to some of its main attractions like Parque Seminario, locally known as the “Park of the Iguanas,” where you will have an opportunity to see hundreds of land iguanas living peacefully among the park’s visitors. 

Continue to the Guayas River Waterfront, walking from the Crystal Palace to the “Rotonda” Hemicycle, a monument that commemorates the historic meeting, two hundred years ago, of South America’s Liberators, Simon Bolivar, and Jose de San Martin, with the background of the Guayas River. The walk passes by the city’s iconic Moorish Clock Tower and the Governor’s Palace Building to continue then on to the charming Santa Ana Hill, where the city was founded by the Spanish in 1535. This is a picturesque neighborhood of small wooden houses painted in bright colors with the best views of the city and the river. 

On the way back to the hotel, drive by the modern Estuary Pier Park and the city’s famous cemetery with its classic statues and luxurious marble mausoleums.

  • You will enjoy a warm and pleasant tropical climate in Guayaquil, dress in light clothes, don't forget to use good walking shoes.

Day 3: End of Itinerary

Meet your guide at the lobby for your private transfer to Guayaquil´s International airport for your international flight home.  Your guide will assist you with check-in.

  • Please keep in mind that your transfer from the airport to the city of Guayaquil will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your hotel location.
  • We always suggest being at the airport 2 hours before your departure time for domestic  flights.
