Day 1 to 3: A Flying Start at the Foot of the Mountains
Your 25-day Tanzania adventure begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred to Tulusia Lakeview, a serene base where you will stay for the first three nights to gently settle into the African rhythm.
The journey of discovery goes in-depth immediately on Day 2 with a visit to Arusha National Park. Here, you will alternate a game drive with an exciting walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. It is the perfect way to experience the details of the bush up close, from iconic wildlife to unique bird species.
On Day 3, a unique experience is on the schedule: an early expedition to the Engikaret Lark Plains. In this vast, open landscape, you will search for the rare and critically endangered Beesley’s Lark with a specialized guide. For nature lovers, this is an absolute must-see. In the afternoon, there is room for relaxation or an additional activity in consultation with your guide.

Day 4 & 5: Safari in Tarangire National Park
Today you will depart early in the morning towards Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will drive directly into the park to begin your safari. You will stay for two nights in a lodge just outside the park. For the rest of the day, you will explore the park at your own pace and search for wildlife together with your guide.
During these days, you will spend the entire day in Tarangire National Park. You decide the pace and how the day is spent, with plenty of time to discover the diverse landscapes and animals of the park. Enjoy your stay in the heart of nature and the unique tranquility that this park offers.

Day 6 & 7: Relaxation at Foresight Eco Lodge
Today you will travel further from Tarangire to Foresight Eco Lodge, where you will stay for two nights. Upon arrival, there is time to relax and enjoy the peaceful, green surroundings. It is the ideal place to unwind and process the first impressions of your safari adventure.
Today you have a free day to spend as you wish. From Foresight Eco Lodge, various optional activities can be organized, such as an interesting visit to a local coffee plantation. These activities can be planned in advance or arranged on-site based on your personal preferences and the rhythm of the day.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater & Olduvai Camp
Today, an absolute highlight is on the program: the Ngorongoro Crater. You will spend the entire day on safari in this enormous crater, world-renowned for its incredibly high concentration of wildlife. With a bit of luck, you will spot magnificent animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and even the very rare black rhino.
At the end of the day, you will leave the crater and drive to Olduvai Camp for the night. This is a remarkable place set in a rugged landscape, the perfect location to end this impressive safari day in total tranquility under the African starlit sky.

Day 9: The Endless Plains of the Central Serengeti
Today you will travel further into the heart of the world-famous Serengeti. The drive to the Central Serengeti is a safari in itself, as you will be on the road all day. The route is an essential part of the experience: as you traverse the vast, open plains and shifting landscapes, you and your guide will continuously search for wildlife.
The Central Serengeti is home to an enormous amount of wildlife all year round. Expect to see large herds of ungulates and the predators that follow them, such as lions and cheetahs. At the end of the day, you will arrive at your accommodation for the night, deep within this impressive ecosystem.

Day 10 & 11: The Great Migration in the Northern Serengeti
Today you will drive from the central part of the Serengeti towards the north. You will be on safari all day as the landscape slowly changes and becomes increasingly rugged. The Northern Serengeti is world-renowned for the annual migration and spectacular river crossings, which take place depending on the season.
During these two days, you and your guide will follow the movement of the Great Migration. Depending on the time of year, you can see enormous herds of wildebeest and zebras with predators in their wake. Together with your guide, you will tailor the game drives to the current locations of the wildlife. You will spend two full days in one of the most impressive parts of the Serengeti, completely immersed in this legendary natural spectacle.

Day 12 to 13: The Untamed Lake Natron
After breakfast, you will head out again in good time and travel towards Lake Natron, a remote and striking area at the foot of the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai. You will stay here for two nights at the Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge, a small-scale lodge set in the heart of this rugged landscape.
The lodge is situated in an open environment where nature and Maasai culture converge. Expect a unique location defined by tranquility, space, and a strong connection to the surroundings rather than luxury. Lake Natron is pure and pristine—the perfect place to slow down and experience Tanzania in a different way, far from the crowds and deep within nature.

Day 14 to 16: At the Foot of Mount Kilimanjaro
Today involves a long day of travel as you drive back towards Moshi, situated at the base of the mighty Kilimanjaro. You will stay for three nights at Kibo View Farm Lodge, a peaceful and atmospheric lodge located on an active farm with views of the mountain. The rural surroundings and open landscape make this an excellent base for the days ahead.
On Day 15, you will enjoy a unique hike on the Kilimanjaro plateau. Together with a guide, you will explore this remarkable area where nature, altitude, and breathtaking views come together. Special attention will be given to the unique vegetation and the ecosystem surrounding Africa's highest peak.
Day 16 is a completely free day to spend at your own pace. Whether you wish to undertake an additional activity or simply relax and enjoy the lodge's surroundings, there is plenty of room to decide what you need.

Day 17 & 18: The Green Heart of the Usambara Mountains
Today you will travel to the Usambara Mountains. Upon departure, you will receive your rental car, marking the start of the self-drive portion of your journey. You will drive yourselves from here, experiencing the true freedom of the open road. The Usambara Mountains offer a completely different landscape compared to the savannas of the past few days: it is lush, hilly, and wonderfully cool. You will stay here for two nights nestled in nature, surrounded by small villages and impressive mountain scenery.
On Day 18, you will go on a guided hike through the rainforest with a local guide. This excursion is fully customized to your own pace and interests. Along the way, you will receive insights into the unique flora, local plant life, and the daily rhythm of mountain life. It is a beautiful, active day in an environment that is a world away from your earlier safaris.

Day 19 to 21: Amani Forest
Today you will leave the central part of the Usambara Mountains and travel further to Amani Forest Camp. Here, you will stay for three nights deep within the dense rainforest. Amani Forest is world-renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity and is an absolute highlight for nature enthusiasts.
From the camp, you will have ample time to search for rare birds, colorful butterflies, and other unique wildlife that inhabit this ecosystem. It is a place where you can fully immerse yourself in the sounds and purity of nature.

Day 22 & 23: The Exclusivity of Mkomazi National Park
Today you will drive to Mkomazi National Park, where you will stay for two nights. This park is far less visited than many other parks in Tanzania, providing a sense of peace and a more exclusive safari experience. It is the ideal destination for those who prefer to share nature with as few other travelers as possible.
During your stay, you will explore the park in search of wildlife. Mkomazi is known for its vast, arid landscapes and serves as a vital habitat for giraffes, elephants, and various antelope species. This park is also home to critical conservation projects for the black rhino. Spend two days in this quiet park, where nature and open space take center stage, allowing you to conclude your journey in a beautiful, serene way.

Day 24: Journey Home
Today you will travel from Mkomazi back towards the airport. Here, you will return your rental car and board your flight home. Your journey comes to an end, but you will carry with you a wealth of impressions and memories of everything you have seen and experienced along the way.
