4 DAY VICTORIA FALLS EXPLORER

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT VICTORIA FALLS AIRPORT 

On arrival at the airport, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to Elephant Camp. After checking in to your luxury tent, you can enjoy some lunch before departing on your first-afternoon activity.

You have the choice of a guided game walk, cocktails canapés at the Batoka Gorge, or a sunset cruise on the Zambezi Royal.

DAY 2 - 3: VICTORIA FALLS

Spend these days enjoying the many activities on offer from the camp. Situated twenty minutes out of town, The Elephant Camp gives guests the opportunity to explore Victoria Falls on their own terms.

However, there are a variety of exciting activities that unfold within the boundaries of the untamed African bush for guests to explore at no additional cost.

Choice of activities available and included are:

Guided Tour of the Falls – Zimbabwe.

It’s a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature’s Supreme Masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict the reality…and nothing prepares you for your first sight.

This tour is conducted in the morning and afternoon. En route, clients may be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where they may stop and take photos. Clients will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls. Raincoats are provided when needed.

Meet the Elephant

The Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary and Orphanage offer eco-conscious travelers an authentic and positive elephant encounter. “Meet the Elephant” will give guests the opportunity to unobtrusively interact with some of the biggest personalities in Africa, in a pristine environment overflowing with raw natural beauty.

Lunch at The Lookout Cafe

Guests enjoy complimentary transfers and the fully inclusive use of the Lookout Café. Perched 120 meters above the turbulent rapids of the Zambezi River, the café overhangs the spectacular chasm of the Batoka Gorge, just down from the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge, which forms part of its backdrop.

Visiting the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust

We work to preserve and protect the elephant in the wild through collaboration with the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust. The Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust (VFTW) is based adjacent to The Elephant Camp and a visit to the trust is included in our guest experience.

A Victoria Falls Canopy Tour.

The Victoria Falls Canopy Tour offers a network of slides, trails, and rope bridge walkways within the canopy of the hardwood forest of the Zambezi gorges. This experience is suitable for adventure seekers of all ages including families and groups. This is family fun with a unique birds-eye view of one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

A Village Tour

Guests will be transferred to a rural village where they will see local villagers going about their daily tasks and interact with them. The tour enables them to see rural Zimbabwean life first hand.

Birding & Nature Walks on the concession.

DAY 4: DEPARTURE 

Enjoy one last morning activity of your choice ( if time permitted ) before needing to pack and check out from camp for your transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport.  On arrival at the airport your tour with us ends.
