COVID-19: ACTIVITIES & SERVICES

Day 1: Matobo National Park

After clearing the entry formalities at the airport you will be met and then transferred to the lodge. The road takes you right through the historic town of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second largest city and then out to the Camp which should take all together about 1 hour 30 mins.

Days 2 - 3: Matobo National Park

This is a fascinating National Park that has many facets to it that should appeal to anyone.  Apart from its unique geography it has a nice population of both black and white rhino which you can track on foot with your guide. It also has some very interesting historic sites that include ancient San Caves with beautiful rock art that are thousands of years old and forward to the more contemporary history of the Ndebele people and the colonial period.

Day 4: Eastern Hwange National Park

You have a private road transfer today in an air conditioned mini bus that will take you back to Bulawayo and then out to Hwange National Park and Khulu Lodge. This journey should take about 5 hours so you should be here in time for lunch at the camp and then ready for an afternoon of game viewing either a nice bush walk or game drive on the private concession area.

Days 5 - 6: Eastern Hwange National Park

Being in a private concession gives you the best of both worlds as you have the flexibility to do night drives as well as the usual day time activities of bush walks and game drives.  It is typical that you would leave early morning to do a game drive inside the National Park which is un-fenced and linked to the concession area and then returning to camp for lunch and then enjoying the game viewing on the concession in the afternoon with a night drive back to camp.

Day 7: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Today you will travel by road again through to Victoria Falls, this journey takes about 2 hours on a good paved road so you will be here easily in time for lunch at the lodge. This afternoon you could either just enjoy the fabulous view from the lodge with a nice drink or you may choose to do one of the many activities available here in Victoria Falls.

Day 8: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

There is a lot to do here in Victoria Falls - key of which is actually going to the Falls themselves and seeing it from all its different angles and you could do this early in the morning. For the afternoon you have a sunset cruise booked on the Signature deck of the Zambezi Explorer which is a great way to end your safari in Zimbabwe.

Helicopter Flight over the Falls

Day 9: End of Itinerary
