Today you drive along the coast to Mosaic Lagoon Lodge with its stunning lagoon setting near Hermanus (approx 1½=2 hours drive).

Continue eastwards to the Garden Route where you spend three nights at the lovely Fynbos on Sea country lodge (or Hunters Country House).
Head onto the Garden Route perhaps stopping off at Mossel Bay or Knysna en route
Head east to explore the Tsitsikamma area

Today you head over the Outeniqua Mountains to spend a night in the Little Karoo with its range of family-friendly pursuits.
Return west, perhaps visiting Knysna en route and head inland to the Little Karoo, preferably arriving by lunchtime

Today you take the scenic, arid drive along the Route 62 to the magnificent Sanbona Game Reserve where you stay two nights at the family-friendly Sanbona Gondwana Lodge (Full Board and Game Drives)

Last night in the Cape Winelands
After a final game drive, you continue westwards to the beautiful Cape Winelands where you spend your final night at Jordan Wine Estate near Stellenbosch.
Today you drive via the scenic Route 62 to the Winelands. You may like to take the Franschhoek Pass if you have time
Return rental car to Cape Town Airport
After a day spent enjoying the winelands, you return to Cape Town Airport in time for your onward flight. (45 minutes drive)
Today you have a final day to explore some of the Winelands. Later in the afternoon, drop off your rental car at Cape Town Airport
