Day 1: New Delhi

Arrive Delhi and transfer to your hotel

Day 2: New Delhi

Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.


Includes Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid (Mosque) and the market district around Chandi Chowk.

Day 3: Mandawa

Drive to Mandawa famed for its beautiful havelis, elegant mansions of wealthy 18th century merchant families, and massive fort.


Visit the bazaar and havelis, decorated with intricate frescos.

Day 4: Bikaner

Continue to Bikaner, founded in 1488. Like many Rajasthani cities, impressive battlement walls surround the town.


Afternoon visit to the impressive Junagarh Fort.

Day 5: Jaisalmer

Travel to Jaisalmer, one of India's most exotic desert towns.


Remainder of the day is free to explore the cobbled streets and absorb the atmosphere.

Day 6: Jaisalmer

Visit the medieval golden sandstone fortress, which overlooks the Thar Desert and is still a living city

Day 7: Jodhpur

Drive across the Thar Desert to Jodhpur, founded in 1459, en-route visiting the Hindu and Jain Temples at Osiyan.


Explore the narrow bustling streets and bazaars of the old city.

Day 8: Jodhpur

Visit Meharangarh, the massive 15th century fort, standing on a low range of sandstone hills overlooking the town; the memorial to Jai Singh II; and the imposing Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Day 9: Deogarh

Drive to Deogarh to stay at the fortified palace, Deogarh Mahal.

Day 10: Udaipur

Drive to Udaipur, en-route visiting the beautiful carved marble Jain temples at Ranakpur.


Afternoon at leisure.

Day 11: Udaipur

Udaipur city tour includes the City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola, its museum, the Jagdish Temple and the Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of the Maids of Honour).

Day 12: Shahpura

Drive to Shahpura.


Three large and about 250 smaller lakes form the heart of this verdant wetland - historic, picturesque, and tranquil.

Day 13: Shahpura

The City Palace illustrates the merging of Rajput and Mughal traditions and architecture. Ram Dwara is a revered ancient temple, while Dhikola Fort stands majestically on a hill.

Day 14: Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur, often referred to as "The Pink City".


Afternoon at leisure.

Day 15: Jaipur

Drive to Amber in the rugged hills that surround Jaipur, where a painted elephant will transport you to the fort's huge arched gates.


In Jaipur visit the Hawa Maha (Palace of the Winds), City Palace and Jantar Mantar (Observatory).

Day 16: Agra

Continue to Agra via the Mughal City of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Akbar around 1570.


Visit the Taj Mahal at sunset.

Day 17: New Delhi

Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Re-visit the Taj later in the day before going to Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah.


Afternoon drive to Delhi, visiting Akbar's tomb at Sikandra en route.


Farewell Dinner.

Day 18: End of Itinerary

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
