Day 1: La Perla Amazon Cruise

The ship will sail down the Marañón River, where naturalist guides will outline the trip plan, routes, and activities, introducing you to Amazon wildlife.

You will enjoy a welcome lunch, your first experience with the delights of regional cuisine. 

After lunch, embark on a night boat tour of the Nauta Caño area to spot nocturnal wildlife like alligators, bats, and frogs.

Return to the ship for dinner and relax

Day 2: La Perla Amazon Cruise

You will take a ride in local canoes and live the experience of paddling in one of the most beautiful aquatic ecosystems in the world. 

You will meet the shaman of the San Regis community, a wise woman from the native community who will share with us her knowledge about the rituals of her ancestors, medicinal plants, and the Amazon worldview. After that, you can participate in a ceremony of planting a tree.

Day 3: La Perla Amazon Cruise

Early in the morning, set out on a boat excursion to Iquitos Brook, an excellent spot for observing a variety of endemic species. Return to the ship for a buffet breakfast.

You will walk through the jungle until we reach the area of the hanging bridges, a set of structures stretched out on top of the trees that will allow you to experience a canopy walk and admire the richness of the jungle from higher grounds.

In the afternoon, head out for a boat expedition to the Shiriyacu stream. Try piranha fishing with local techniques and keep an eye out for pink dolphins.

Day 4: End of Itinerary

You will depart by boat to Gasparito Brook for bird and primate watching.

After breakfast, the bartender will be waiting for you,  for a Peruvian cocktail demonstration, Pisco Sour, the emblematic drink of Peru.

 On your way to the airport, visit Amazon Forever Bio Park, also known as Manatees Rescue Center, where biologists and volunteers care for manatees, an endangered species.
