On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred to Palm River Hotel located on the banks of the Zambezi River where you will spend the next 2 nights.

Clients will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Today you will transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to the Kruger Park.

Guests then embark on a thrilling morning game drive, which starts just before sunrise. The early hours are prime time for wildlife activity, and with expert rangers at the helm, guests have the opportunity to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—along with a wide array of other animals, birds, and unique landscapes. The drive lasts about three to four hours, often stopping for a refreshing coffee break in the bush.
After the game drive, guests return to the camp for a hearty brunch, followed by time to relax, unwind, and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The camp offers a peaceful environment where guests can take a dip in the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or simply relax on their private deck, watching wildlife from the comfort of their tent.
In the afternoon, after a light lunch, guests head out for the evening game drive around 4:00 PM. This drive often focuses on observing the animals as they become more active in the cooler late afternoon, with the chance to witness dramatic sunsets over the savannah. A stop is made for sundowners, allowing guests to enjoy a refreshing drink while soaking in the stunning landscape.
The evening game drive typically concludes with a return to the camp as night falls, where guests are greeted with a delicious dinner under the stars. The evening is spent around the campfire or in the lounge, sharing stories of the day’s sightings before retiring to their luxurious tents for a peaceful night’s rest, ready for another exciting safari the next day.
Expect another early wake-up call and enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your game drive to catch some nocturnal animals still out hunting, and witness the sun rising.
Activities at Hamiltons Tented Camp include traditional safaris in “Big Five” country, bush picnics and champagne breakfasts. Wellness treatments are available on request by the African Spa team. These may be taken at the poolside area or on a secluded deck of your suite.
