Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met by your guide and transferred to Rivertrees Country Inn, a journey of about an hour. Once you have settled you will undertake a full trip briefing, followed by dinner.

After breakfast you depart Arusha in your private 4 wheel drive vehicle and head out to the Makuyuni junction. From here you set out on bikes for a gentle ride to the Boundary Hill gate of Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch.
You arrive in camp with enough time to freshen up then relax around the campfire with drinks before dinner.
Overnight - Tamarind Expedition Camp
Morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. In the afternoon, you have the option of a walk or another ride there is time to freshen up before dinner.

Today depart camp relatively early and make your way to your 'trailhead' for your ride towards the Great Rift Valley. En route you will encounter Maasai villages and a stunning backdrop. Break for lunch at a waterfall and then continue to ride towards the edge of Lake Manyara arriving late afternoon at your camp. Freshen up and then enjoy sundowners before we rendezvous for dinner.
Overnight: Manyara Expedition Camp
After breakfast with a drive down the road to Endulen to a village known as Misigiyo. You start a walk through the densely packed acacia trees valley, from where you will unexpectedly emerge into a scrubby and grassland. It is a stiff climb of about 2 hours to the peak which, once on it, offers you good views of Lake Eyasi and Endulen. From there you will continue for another half an hour through some beautiful, high altitude forests. You may see signs of animals such as buffalo and baboons. Eventually you have to scramble up another 200 meters to the peak of Makarot itself. From there you will be rewarded with an outstanding view and the feeling that you are standing on the roof of the world. In front of you the ground falls away to the Lake Eyasi, the western wall of the Rift Valley, Lake Ndutu, Olduvai Gorge and the plains of the Serengeti. You enjoy your picnic lunch while admiring the view and then start your walk back towards the camp, arriving in time for dinner.
Overnight - The Highlands Camp
The day today is spent in Tanzania’s breath taking Natural wonder the Ngorongoro crater. It is about 20kms across, 600metres deep and 300sqkms in area. The crater is also home to good populations of Lion, Leopard and hyena along with healthy herds of wilder beast, buffalo and zebra. Other wildlife here includes several cat, cheetah, jackal, grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, flamingo and bat eared foxes, as well as approximately 400 species of bird. Enjoy a bush lunch at mid day and continue with the game drive. Mid afternoon, drive out of the crater and back to the camp in time for dinner.
Overnight - The Highlands Camp
This morning you will be transferred to Manyara airstrip, in time to connect with a scheduled flight to Kogatende airstrip. On landing, you will be met and transferred to Serian North camp.

This morning you will be transferred to Kogatende airstrip in time to connect with a scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro Airport.
On arrival connect with your homeward bound flight.
