Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met for your road transfer to Bateleur Safari Camp in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Once you arrive at the lodge, check-in, settle in, and enjoy some tea or coffee before setting out on your first afternoon game drive to begin your search for the animals, including the Big Five.
Transfers from other airports, such as Nelspruit, Phalaborwa and Johannesburg, can also be arranged at an additional cost.

Shared afternoon game drive
You will enjoy an early morning game drive followed by a cooked breakfast.
After breakfast, you can relax with a book by the pool, use the steam room or ice bath, or journey on a guided bush walk. In the afternoon, you will go on a shared game drive and then come back to the lodge for dinner.

After your last morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport. We will be happy to help with any add-on safari arrangements, such as a trip to Cape Town or Victoria Falls.
