Day 1: Mendoza Wine Region

"Mendoza, the wine capital of Argentina"

Upon arrival in Mendoza  you will be greeted at the airport Airport by an experienced guide who is just waiting to introduce you to one of the world's most exciting cities. Mendoza   is known throughout the world as the wine capital of Argentina. The area is located in the central western part of the country, nestled into the foothills of the Andes, and at the base of South Americas highest mountain the Aconcagua (6,959m).

 Once you arrive to your selected hotel, your guide will assist you at check-in and you will have  some time to freshen up. 

In the afternoon you will have a city tour to to visit the main attractions in Mendoza city. You are going to understand how Mendoza was converted from a small town into an important Metrópoli in Argentina.

This tour of Mendoza visits the main sites of the City. First you’ll observe tree lined streets and the irrigation canals that connect you with the ancient times of Mendoza. To understand the history of the place, you are going to visit the founding area and the Franciscan ruins. Also, you will go to the main Independencia square and the four smaller that surround it.

Going around the city, you will learn about mendocinians lifestyle and the most representative buildings. Then, you will head forward the Central Market where you will be able to try local products.

Going on with the tour, you will go ahead to the residential area and finally San Martín historical Park. This Park is emblematic due to its artistic gateway and famous fountain. Also, the lake that is very much present in all locals’ life.

The city tour continues up to Cerro de la Gloria hill crowned by the impressive Monument to the Andean Army led by the courageous General San Martin figure and his liberating army across the Andes.

On the way back, you will pass by the Aristides Avenue to get the feeling of its lively environment of bars and restaurants.

The  rest of the evening is at your  leisure to rest and  to prepare yourself for another amazing day!

Day 2: Mendoza Wine Region

"Drinking wine, feeling fine" 

Today you will have a full day wine tour visiting  wineries  in Lujan de Cuyo, the Cradle of Malbec. Lujan boasts beautiful country houses, tree lined roads and wide vineyards along which you plunge into the Wine Road. 

Led by insider guides, you will visit three world-class vineyards and wineries. Walking around their facilities, you will learn different ways of wine making process, as well as you plug into the steps to taste a good wine. Every place will give you different aspects of the wine production. From the vineyard, where you will observe the grape vines to understand how they work to the final product.

You will learn how they produce the best grapes. Finally, you will also explore the cellars and aging rooms to end up with a great tasting at each during this Mendoza wine tour.

In addition to this, you will enjoy a gourmet lunch paired with the best wines of the region surrounded by a beautiful environment and the majestic Andes Range in the distance.

You will then return to the Hotel to enjoy another relaxing evening in this wonderful city.

Day 3: End of Itinerary

Mendoza:  A great encounter with wine and nature 

Today is at your leisure to walk around Mendoza City,  an incredible oasis created by man with the help of the Mendoza and Tunuyán Rivers, which have been wisely channeled into a huge irrigation system that gives life to everything it touches.  
Locals have always shown a trend to enjoy a good table. Now, it’s your time to know more about fine wines and how to match them with the most elaborate and delightful dishes.
Two of the traditional gastronomic poles are Sarmiento Avenue and Belgrano Street, in the very center of the city. Become identified with the cuisine of Mendoza, based on plentiful servings of homemade food in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Another popular space among the Mendocineans is Paseo La Alameda, rarely reached by tourists offering some pizza restaurants, breweries and fast food bars.  Remedios de Escalada Street is turned into a pedestrian promenade with a bohemian touch which offers some specialty and good street shows. 

At schedule time, a private car will transfer you to the airport to  catch your flight to your next destination.
