Enjoy a hearty breakfast early in the morning before continuing onto Sossusvlei via Rehoboth. After your arrival, enjoy the spectacular landscape that surrounds your desert lodge. During your stay, you have the opportunity to visit the highest dune, Big Daddy and Deadvlei, the most famous viewpoints in this region. A guided tour to Sossusvlei is highly recommended. The NamibRand is known for its exceptional darkness and here you can experience one of the clearest night skies on Earth from your open roof star gazer room.



Today continue towards the coast of Namibia and the charming port town of Swakopmund. Founded in 1892, it was considered the most important German port in South West Africa. Swakopmund offers many German pubs, cafes, bakeries and restaurants, a beautiful promenade for walking, an aquarium and is the perfect starting point for exploring Walvis Bay and Cape Cross. Enjoy city sightseeing and explore the coastal desert, habitat for fascinating desert dwellers. Breathtaking views from the desert dunes round off the unique experience.



This morning the journey from Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe, taking the route through Cape Cross, offers a scenic and adventurous experience. This path not only showcases the stunning coastal landscapes of Namibia but also provides an opportunity to witness the unique wildlife at Cape Cross, known for its large colony of Cape fur seals. As travellers make their way from the vibrant coastal town of Swakopmund, they will encounter diverse terrains, from sandy beaches to rugged mountains, culminating in the breathtaking rock formations of Spitzkoppe, often referred to as the "Matterhorn of Namibia." This route is ideal for those seeking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and rich biodiversity of the region.



On your way to Twyfelfontein you will pass through the Brandberg mountain range. Over 50,000 rock paintings, several thousand years old, can be found around the Königsstein, Namibia's highest mountain at 2,573 m. In 2007, Twyfelfontein was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Other famous sights in the area are the petrified forest with around 250 million year old (fossil) trees and the "organ pipes", a volcanic massif made up of vertical basalt columns. Enjoy the adventurous opportunity to track down desert elephants with a certified ranger.

The landscape gradually changes, offering sweeping views of the savannah and rugged terrain that Namibia is known for. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife and indigenous flora as you head towards Otjiwarongo. Your accommodation is located within the Okonjima Nature Reserve. Arriving at your Lodge in the early afternoon, you’ll check in and settle into your comfortable surroundings. The lodge’s serene atmosphere provides a perfect setting for relaxation, so take some time to unwind after your journey. Once you reach Windhoek, you will be greeted by the bustling city life, with its vibrant markets, cultural attractions, and delicious cuisine to explore.
