Day 1 | Discovering Pereira among the Andes
Upon arrival at the international airport, a member of the Metropolitan Touring team will meet you and accompany you on a private transfer to your hotel in Pereira. During the drive, your guide will provide an introduction to the region, assist with hotel check-in and share details of the itinerary, as well as contact information for 24-hour assistance.
Located in a valley descending from the western Andes, Pereira serves as a convenient base for exploring the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia. The city is surrounded by green hills covered with coffee plantations. It is also known as a gateway to nearby nature reserves and thermal springs areas.

Day 2 | Palm trees in the Cocora Valley
The second day focuses on some of the most iconic landscapes of the Coffee Region. The experience begins in the Cocora Valley, known for its open fields and the presence of the Quindio wax palm. A guided walk offers insight into the ecological importance of the valley while allowing time to enjoy its scenery.
As part of the visit, you will take part in the palm ritual, an activity dedicated to conservation through the planting of wax palm seedlings. The journey continues in Salento, a traditional town known for its colorful architecture and local crafts, followed by a visit to Filandia, a well-preserved town with scenic viewpoints and a relaxed atmosphere. Here you will enjoy a local beverage in the main square to complete the experience.

Day 3 | Colombian Coffee Tradition
This day is dedicated to coffee culture. At Finca La Morelia, a family-owned coffee estate, you will learn about the coffee process from cultivation to roasting. The visit includes walks through the plantations, processing areas, drying zones and roasting facilities.
The experience concludes with a guided coffee tasting and a practical demonstration, offering a clear understanding of the flavors and characteristics of regional coffee. After lunch, you will head back to the hotel.

Day 4 | Departure from Coffee Region
At the scheduled time, your guide will accompany you on a private transfer from the hotel to the Pereira airport, providing assistance during airline check in for your onward journey.
Important notes
Regular accommodation is provided at a 4-star hotel at Sazagua Boutique Hotel or Hacienda Combia.
A 5-star accommodation upgrade is available at Hotel Casa San Carlos Lodge or Mocawa, subject to availability and an additional charge.
The order of activities is suggested and may vary due to operational considerations.
Transfers include one suitcase per person up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg) and one carryon bag. Additional luggage may incur an additional charge.
