Continue north towards Etosha National Park, travelling through Namibia's central and northern regions. Arrive at Mushara Lodge, conveniently situated near Etosha's eastern entrance. Spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing or, time permitting, enjoy your first wildlife experience in the park.
Enjoy a full day exploring Etosha National Park at your own pace. Drive between the numerous waterholes of eastern Etosha, keeping watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope and predators. Return to Mushara Lodge in the late afternoon after a rewarding day of wildlife viewing.
After breakfast, leave the Etosha region and continue towards Grootfontein. The journey introduces you to the greener landscapes of north-eastern Namibia as you travel towards Fiume Lodge. Settle in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon before continuing deeper into the Kavango region the following day.
Continue north-east towards Rundu and the Kavango River. The scenery gradually becomes greener as you approach Namibia's perennial waterways. Arrive at Hakusembe River Lodge, beautifully positioned along the river, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and views across the water.
After breakfast, follow the route eastwards through the Kavango Region towards Divundu. Arrive at Shametu River Lodge, situated along the banks of the Okavango River near the impressive Popa Falls. Settle in and enjoy the afternoon surrounded by the lush riverine environment.
Spend the day exploring the natural attractions of the area. Visit the nearby Popa Falls or venture into the wildlife-rich areas of Bwabwata National Park, where elephants, buffalo and numerous antelope species may be encountered. Return to Shametu River Lodge and enjoy another peaceful evening overlooking the river.
Continue east into Namibia's Zambezi Region, where rivers, wetlands and floodplains create a striking contrast to the country's arid interior. Make your way towards Kazile Island Lodge and settle into this remote wilderness setting, surrounded by the waterways and wildlife of the region.
Enjoy a full day immersed in the beautiful riverine wilderness surrounding Kazile Island Lodge. Today, continue to Katima Mulilo as arranged before joining your scheduled transfer to Nkasa Linyanti. Leave the driving behind and travel into one of Namibia's most remote and wildlife-rich regions. Arrive at the lodge and settle in for the next three nights surrounded by the wetlands and wilderness of the Nkasa Rupara area.
