Route of the Emotions Reg (from São Luis to Fortaleza)

Welcome to Sao Luis!

The driver will meet you at the arrivals at Marechal Cunha Machado International Airport holding a sign with your name. From there you will be transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Barreirinhas at the chosen facility.

In the afternoon, departure by 4x4 for expedition to the impressive Great Lencois. 

The beautiful lagoon circuit, among all its beauties, is special because it allows one of the most beautiful sunsets of the Lencois Maranhenses National Park, 20 km from the city of Barreirinhas, its access is made in 4x4 (type: Jardineira, placed in the hopper). The access road consists of a trail of sand with vegetation on its sides, which sometimes leads to having to dodge the most protruding branches. The 4x4 will take you to the place where you will begin a guided walk to visit the lagoons that make up the Lagoa Bonita circuit.

Breakfast in the Pousada and departure for the navigation of the Rio Preguiça to discover the so-called "Pequenos Lençois".

The Preguiças River Circuit is the most traditional tour in the region, with a natural beauty formed by palm trees, mangroves and dunes lining this river that flows slowly towards the sea. The tour includes four stops along its course, in front of the palm trees, in the Lencois on the beach of Vassouras, in the Villa of Mandacaru and the last point of visit to the beach of the Caburè peninsula.

At the end of the excursion, transfer to the pousada.

After breakfast departure for Parnaiba. Drive along the beaches along the coast to Parnaíba, past the small towns of Paulino Neves and Tutoia.

In the afternoon departure for the tour on the Parnaiba Delta. Nestled between the two states of Piauì and Maranhão, the Delta do Parnaiba is the only one in the two Americas to flow into the open sea, the third largest oceanic delta on the planet (after the Nile Delta and the Mekong Delta). Five arms, about eighty river islands, mangrove woods and forests with uncovered roots, thousands of palm trees, iguanas in the shade of the bushes, monkeys, a few caimans: a real labyrinth of rivers and canals that you travel on a spear, above the he tests a sky interrupted only by the wings of birds, orange-billed caracara, kingfishers, urubus and green budgies.

The journey continues by speedboat to Ilha do Caju, the real highlight. Around 5:00 p.m., we finally reach the small Ilha dos Guarás, where flocks of scarlet ibises settle on the treetops in countless swarming flights at sunset. A total of about 3,000 birds land on the island over the course of a good half-hour. It is a unique spectacle as the trees gradually turn a vivid red, and some guests find it hard to tear themselves away from this magical place, whose silence is broken only by the rippling of the water.

According to the tide, you will leave Parnaiba and make your way to Jericoacoara along 115 km of asphalt until the raft, at the mouth of the River Coreaú, with which you will cross it to reach the white dunes and carnaúbas palm trees in Camocim’s Island of Love.

The 4×4 will follow the waterfront until the beach of Tatajuba. You can descend the Funil dune using sandboarding planks leased at place (not included).

In the Torta Lagoon you will be delighted with the small hammocks over the water and the fruits of the sea curious “live” menu from Didi’s restaurant.

The second ferry crossing will take place on the Guriú beach, with its green-water channel and the cemetery of the mangrove trees.

You will follow the waterfront to Jericoacoara where you will arrive in time to enjoy the sunset on the famous Duna do Pôr do Sol (Dune of the Sunset), the daily ritual of residents and visitors of the place.

After breakfast you  enjoy a tour off the beaten track with a sand buggy. 

After a first stop at the Pedra Furada, you will arrive at Lagoa Azul, where you will stop to take photos and have a refreshing drink. Next we reach the main postcard of the famous village of Jericoacoara on the Ceará coast. Laguna Paradiso is probably the best entertainment program in Jeri. The calm, clear water is an ideal place to cool off from the high temperatures and dry climate of this region of Brazil. Lagoa Paraíso is located about 30 minutes from the village of Jericoacoara in the municipality of Jijoca de Jericoacoara. Access is from the dunes that surround the entire region. In addition to diving into crystal clear waters, you can relax in one of the many colorful nets that everyone likes and whose photos of people relaxing in hammocks on the clear waters of the lagoon are famous today.

Sadly, your adventure through Brazil must come to an end today. However, you will be leaving with new and unforgettable memories and experiences! After checking out of the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport in good time to board your departure flight.
