Day 1: Cape Town

  • Arrive at Cape Town International Airport at time TBC
  • On arrival, you will be met by your own personal driver/guide and transferred to the hotel
  • Check in at The Cape Milner Hotel
  • Rest of the afternoon at leisure - Explore the area

Day 2: Cape Town

  • Breakfast
  • You will be picked up at your accommodation at 9:00am by your Tour guide/driver and embark on a driving and walking tour of this historical city.
  • We begin in the heart of the city in Adderley street where we will view historical monuments like Bartholomew Dias, Jan van Riebeeck and Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir. Thereafter we will visit some heritage museums like the Slave Lodge and Cape Castle.
  • We will see the City Hall and the Company Gardens and proceed past the House of Parliament. We stop at the Noon Gun and continue to the Bo Kaap where we will see the famous Colourful houses in the Cape Quarter and stop to take some photos.
  • An optional stop at Afrogem will be offered to witness the production of fine African jewelery with a focus on rich gold, platinum, diamonds and tanzanite. Guests will be able to walk the working factory floor and purchase the jewelry directly.
  • We proceed to the top of Signal Hill to admire the view of the City Bowl area including the Cape Town Stadium. Thereafter we take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain to explore this unique piece of nature.
  • We recommend a light lunch to be enjoyed on the top of the mountain - for your own account. Upon our return from Table Mountain, we will proceed to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a tour of one of the most beautiful gardens in South Africa. This unmatched natural beauty can be found at the foot of Table Mountain.
  • Time permitting, guests will have an option to stop at one of the oldest wine estates in South Africa known as Groot Constantia for a wine tasting. You will be dropped off at your accommodation after the tour at approximately 17:00pm.

Day 3: Cape Town

  • Breakfast
  • You will be picked up at their accommodation in Cape Town at 8:00am by a qualified tour guide/driver and transfer to the ferry departure point for the Nelson Mandela Gateway – at the Clocktower Precinct in the V & A Waterfront.
  • Your tour guide/driver will not be accompanying you on the boat or at the island as there will be a sight guide on the island who will give you a guided tour. At 9:00am, board the ferry boat to set sail to Robben Island. The entire tour takes up to 3.5 hours including ferry journey times.
  • Upon reaching the island, disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour and take a brief walk to the bus that will transport you around the island. A former political prisoner will give you a site tour, including a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell.
  • After the tour, return to the Clocktower Precinct at the V&A Waterfront at approximately 12:30, where you will meet your tour guide/driver.
  • In the afternoon we proceed to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins colony.  We will travel along the Atlantic Seaboard, with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other and pass through Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay. We will have a photo stop at Maiden's Cove, with spectacular views of Camps Bay and the 12 Apostles mountain range.
  • Then we drive along one of the most beautiful sightseeing routes in the world known as Chapman's Peak drive. Along this route we will stop at a view point for photos. Thereafter we proceed to Boulders Penguins colony. Here guests will have the opportunity to visit the African Penguins and and take some photos of these enchanting sea creatures.
  • From there we enter into the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Please wear comfortable shoes and always bring a jacket. Ask your expert Cape Point tour guide to guide you along the safe hiking trails, should you be a keen hiker.
  • Once in the Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve, we explore the Dias cross and some fauna and flora and see the meeting point of the 2 currents: the cold Benguela Current and the warm Agulhas Current. You may also encounter some baboons and other wildlife. We advise our guests not to get too close to the Baboons and avoid feeding them as these are wild animals and can therefore be dangerous.
  • Our return route is passing via the Old Cape Road. You will be dropped off at your accommodation after the tour.

Day 4: Klaserie Private Game Reserve

  • You will be transferred to the Airport for flight to Eastgate Airport - Hoedspruit departing at time TBC
  • On arrival in Hoedspruit, you will be met by our representative and transferred to nThambo Tree Camp 
  • Check in and enjoy lunch
  • After lunch, depart on an afternoon game drive
  • Return for dinner 
  • Overnight

Day 5: Klaserie Private Game Reserve

  • Depart on Morning and Afternoon Game Drives
  • Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the lodge

The highlight of this route is the splendour of Blyde River Canyon, one of the world's largest green canyons featuring lush subtropical vegetation
