Day 1: Central Namibia

Upon arrival at the Windhoek International Airport meet with your guide, who will accompany you for the duration of the tour. Depart for Mount Etjo Safari Lodge, some 250 km north of the capital Windhoek.  Check in, and relax from the long flight.  At the waterhole on the garden edge you have the opportunity to see giraffe, waterbuck, kudu antelopes, rhino, elephant and many more. Depending on the arrival time you will then meet in the beautiful garden setting for the official welcome  to and introduction to the program of this digital wellbeing adventure offered by your tour leader and host Alessio Carciofi.

After dinner you have the option to partake in a lion feeding excursion.

Days 2 - 3: Etosha East

After an early breakfast depart for the eastern part of the iconic Etosha National Park. The route leads via Otjiwarongo, Otavi and Tsumeb. Arrive at the lodge in the early afternoon. Check in, freshen up, and set off for your first game drive in  the park that will last until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Mokuti Etosha Lodge. After dinner gettogether for conversation.

The next day is dedicated to game viewing activities in the morning and afternoon. After dinner conversation.

Day 4: Epacha Private Game Reserve

It is an early rise as you want to start the day in the park with sunrise to see nocturnal game such as hyena, black rhino, leopard and lion, before they settle for the day. Traversing the park in a westerly direction and enjyoing extensive game viewing en route, arrive at Epacha Game Lodge & Spa 40 km south of the park in the early afternoon.  You have the opportunity for an afternoon game drive in the lodge's own private game reserve or indulge in some of the many rejuvenating treatments the Spa has to offer.

Days 5 - 6: Damaraland

Start the day with an exquisite breakfast. Today's destination is the rugged mountain region of Damaraland.  The route leads via Outjo and Khorixas to Twyfelfontein. However, before you hit the road, you will visit a traditional Himba village to learn more about the semi-nomads that have maintained their age-old traditions. Then continue to Twyfelfontein, where you arrive in the later afternoon. 

Arrive at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge in the early evening.  Check in and relax until dinner time.  After dinner we gather at a dark spot to study the star-studded African nightsky.

The next morning you will visit the rock engravings of Twyfelfontein, Namibia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Burnt Mountain, the Organ Pipes and the Damara Living Museum. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to participate in a nature drive in search for the desert-adapted elephant, which roam the riverbeds and plains in the area.  Return to the lodge is after sunset and in time for dinner.  

After dinner enjoy the night sky as you exit the restaurant and find a dark spot to marvel at the star-studded firmament.

Day 7: Cape Cross

Again the day begins with mindfulness session with sunrise. Then have breakfast and prepare your luggage, after which you depart for Cape Cross via the former mining town of Uis. Arrive at Cape Cross Lodge in the early afternoon, Check in, relax and undertake a leisurely stroll along the secluded beach in front of the lodge. 

At sunset follows another meditation.

    

Days 8 - 9: Swakopmund

Today is a leisurely start as the coastal town of Swakopmund is only few kilometres away. First visit in the morning is at the west coast's biggest breeding colony Cape Cross. Then you continue to Swakopmund where visits at the Two Beards Coffee Roasters, a craft Gin distillery and a craft beer brewery follow. The remainder of the afternoon is at own leisure to explore the town. Dinner will be served in one of the town's finest restaurants and is on your own account (not included in the tour price).

The second day starts early, as we have to reach Walvis Bay in time for the kayaking experience that starts at 09h00 AM.  Depart on a Catamaran to Pelican Point at the bay's edge, disembark, and start with your kayak excursion along the seal colony there. After a good time has been spent there return to the beach and enjoy brunch.  Return to Walvis Bay in 4x4 vehicles via the salt works and the Walvis Bay lagoon to see the myriads of flamingos there.

Return to Swakopmund  in the early afternoon and participate in other optional activities, such as a guided quad biking excursion in the coastal dunes, a round flight overflying the dunes of Sossusvlei and back via Conception Nay an the Eduard Bohlen shipwreck, a camel ride and many more. 

In the early evening session with Alesio Carciofi on the top of a dune or on the beach as you watch the sun set over the western horizon.

Days 10 - 11: Sossusvlei

Start the day with a scrumptious breakfast. Then depart for the highlight of your journey as you enter the Namib Desert and follow the route towards the sand sea of Sossusvlei. Your first visit will be the Moon Landscape, after which you will continue to the great plains of the gravel desert, down the Kuiseb and the Gaub Canyons. Stop over at Solitaire to enjoy the famous apple pie from the Moos Mc Gregor Bakery there. Then continue for the last leg of today's journey to reach We Kebi Safari Lodge in the early evening. 

After dinner sit around a bonfire under the desert night sky and marvel at the myriad of stars above you while you indulge in a meaningful conversation.

The next day  start early with breakfast and then depart for Sossusvlei. Climb Dune 45, walk the Dead Vlei and participate in some yoga exercises, before returning to the entrance, where Sesriem Canyon waits for your exploration. Lunch may be enjoyed in a restaurant nearby (not included in tour price) , before you return to base.  The remainder of the afternoon is at own leisure. The early evening offers the opportunity for a sundowner from the deck of your bungalow, followed by dinner.

Then after dinner, enjoy another evening around the fireplace watching the stars.

 

Red Dunes

Day 12: Kalahari Namibia

On the second last leg of your Africa adventure depart for the Kalahari Desert and Zebra Kalahari Lodge, which you will reach in the early afternoon. After check in and a little siesta participate in an afternoon game drive in the lodges on game reserve. Enjoy a sundowner from the top of a dune as you watch the sun set over the western horizon. Then return for dinner, after which you will spend another evening around the fireplace under the African starry sky.

Day 13: Central Namibia

Breakfast and departure to return to the central high plateau and Naankuse Lodge 43 km east of Windhoek. Arrival there is in the early afternoon.  Settle in and prepare for the  carnivore feeding tour.  In the early evening actively participate in a drumming session, together with Namibian artists, followed by dinner to the sound of African drums.

Day 14: End of Itinerary

A very last   breakfast on this journey. Then close your luggage and depart for the airport for your return flight back to Italy.
