Day 1
Arrival in Windhoek
You’ll be picked up at the airport and driven to Windhoek, where you’ll pick up your rental car and drive through Namibian farmland to your lodge, which is located south of the capital in the Auas Mountains. The rest of the day is yours to spend relaxing at the pool and recovering from the long flight. If time permits, you can book a game drive on site, where you can see oryx antelopes, giraffes, springboks, and much more (optional), before enjoying your first evening in Namibia with a delicious dinner.

Day 2
Naukluft Mountains
Your route today takes you to the Büllsport Guest Farm, one of the oldest farms in Namibia. This cattle and horse breeding farm is situated on the dry Tsondab riverbed right on the border of the Namib Naukluft Park, a hiker's paradise and ‘Eldorado’ for wild animals and a dazzling array of birdlife. Some of the animals you’re likely to see include, springbok, Hartmann's mountain zebra, kudu, and klipspringer.

Day 3
Sesriem/Sossusvlei
A spectacular scenic excursion awaits you today. You’ll be driven along a 4x4 trail into the mountains, where there is plenty of game to discover, and, at the top, a magnificent view over the mountains and the area around the farm. You’ll then hike down into the Quiver Tree Gorge and back to the lodge. After this adventure, you continue your journey towards Sesriem and your accommodation in a private nature reserve. Characterized by panoramic views, a spacious pool area, and good cuisine, the lodge offers rustic and cozy grass-roofed chalets which blend in wonderfully with the landscape.

Day 4
Sossusvlei
Drive to the highest dunes in the world at Sossusvlei. As the sun is still quite low in the morning, the high dunes shimmer golden, yellow and reddish on one side, but are dark and shadowy on the other. This makes the dune ridge stand out razor-sharp. Take a short hike through thick sand to Deadvlei, where trees that died hundreds of years ago offer a fascinating vista thanks to their bizarrely shaped trunks and branches. Back at the lodge, you can relax and let the experiences of the day sink in again.

Day 5
To Swakopmund
You drive north to Solitaire, where you must sample the famous apple pie. You’ll then pass the Gaub and Kuiseb Passes and cross the central Namib Desert. On the way you’re sure to see ostriches, but maybe also springboks, zebras, and oryx antelopes. Your destination is the coastal town of Swakopmund, where you’ll spend the night right next to the sea. The town center with its numerous cafés and restaurants is within walking distance, and a reservation can be made in a restaurant with a view of the ocean (optional).

Day 6 & 7
Swakopmund
Today you’ll get to experience a very interesting boat trip on a catamaran or in a kayak in the Walvis Bay lagoon. You are sure to see hundreds of seals as well as pelicans and flamingos, and possibly also dolphins, and, if you’re really lucky, a whale or two. Many other activities, such as dune boarding, an excursion in search of the "Little 5", or quad biking are also possible (optional).

Day 8
Omaruru
You head back inland today, past the mighty rock massif of the Spitzkoppe, to Omaruru Game Lodge, a small oasis situated on the banks of the dry river under shady palms and old trees. From the rustic bungalows, you have a beautiful view of a large waterhole where you’re sure to spot many wild animals. In the afternoon, you’ll go on a game drive in the lodge's game-rich safari park. The lodge also offers cheetah feeding.

Day 9
Etosha National Park
You reach the Etosha National Park today, one of the largest game reserves in the world at just under 23,000 km2, and home to over 110 species of mammals, including elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, twelve different species of antelope, and lions. As your camp is just a few kilometers from the entrance to the park you can drive into the park in the afternoon for your first game drives, or just relax in the camp.

Day 10
Etosha National Park
Exciting animal sightings await you today in the Etosha National Park. You have the whole day to explore this paradise, spotting animals such as giraffes, kudus, zebra, springbok and, with a bit of luck, even lions on the way to, and at the various waterholes. Leave the park at sunset at the latest and drive back to camp.

Day 11
Drive through the eastern Etosha National Park
You have another chance to enjoy the abundance of animals in the park and observe many wild animals quenching their thirst at the waterholes today. In the evening, you leave the park in an easterly direction and reach your camp just a few kilometers after the exit. The grass-roofed buildings of this cozy camp convey a real "bush feeling".

Day 12
Otjiwarongo
Today you drive to a private game reserve near the village of Otjiwarongo. The Otjiwa Private Game Reserve, which covers around 12,000 hectares, has a lot to offer. There are 25 game species to see, including the rare rhino, and sable and roan antelope, which you can admire on the pre-booked afternoon game drive. In the afternoon, you can relax by the pool and reflect on the past few days.

Day 13
Departure
It’s time to say goodbye, drive to Windhoek, return the rental car, transfer to the airport, and take off for home – with many amazing memories and stories to share.
