Day 1: Lake Burunge

Arrival & Into the Wild | Tarangire / Lake Burunge

Your journey into Tanzania begins with a warm welcome upon arrival in Arusha, where your private guide introduces you to the rhythm of safari life. Leaving the bustle behind, you travel into the golden landscapes of Tarangire, where ancient baobab trees stand like sentinels across the plains.

As you make your way toward Lake Burunge, wildlife sightings begin almost immediately—elephants moving in quiet herds, giraffes browsing lazily, and perhaps your first glimpse of predators resting in the shade.

Arrive at camp in time to settle in and take in sweeping views over the lake. As the sun dips low, the sounds of the African bush come alive, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Karatu

From Rift Valley to Crater Highlands | Ngorongoro

After a relaxed morning and perhaps a final wildlife encounter, your journey continues through the Great Rift Valley and into the lush highlands surrounding Ngorongoro.

The landscape transforms dramatically—rolling green hills, coffee farms, and misty forests replace the dry savannah. This is a softer, more cultivated Tanzania, rich in culture and history.

Arrive at your lodge perched along the crater rim region, where the air is cooler and the setting more tranquil. The afternoon is yours to unwind—perhaps a walk through the gardens or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings before dinner.

Day 3: Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp

Into the Southern Serengeti | Ndutu Plains

This morning, descend from the highlands and journey toward the vast, open plains of Ndutu, where the Serengeti ecosystem stretches endlessly to the horizon.

The transition is dramatic—forests give way to open grasslands teeming with wildlife. Depending on the season, this region is one of Africa’s most extraordinary stages, particularly during the Great Migration’s calving season, when vast herds gather and predators follow close behind

Arrive at your tented camp, where the experience becomes deeply immersive—canvas walls, open skies, and the feeling of being truly part of the wilderness. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to camp for a fireside evening under the stars.

The Drama of the Plains | Ndutu

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu region, one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the Serengeti ecosystem.

Game drives reveal the rhythm of life on the plains—cheetahs scanning the horizon, lion prides resting after the night’s hunt, and endless herds moving across the landscape. During calving season, the plains are especially alive, with newborn wildebeest drawing intense predator activity

Pause for a bush picnic in a scenic location, surrounded by nothing but open sky and wildlife. Return to camp in the evening, where stories are shared around the fire and the sounds of the wild carry through the night.

Arrive once again in the crater highlands, where the cooler air and lush surroundings provide a gentle contrast to the intensity of the Serengeti.
