- After breakfast, you will start a guided tour in Dresden, where you immerse yourself in the glamorous history of Dresden. You can be enchanted by the sights of the city on an individual tour of discovery and visit the world-famous Striezelmarkt. From a distance, you can see the world's largest step pyramid in the Ore Mountains and a huge decorated spruce tree, as well as the typical Dresden Christmas symbols, the nutcracker, the miner, the snowman, and the plum slipper as large figures.
- Continue to the guided city you can choose as part of the tour, you will also make a detour to one of the largest stollen bakeries in Dresden, which is in its high season at this time of the year. During a short tour, you will be initiated into the secrets of the recipe and raw materials of the Dresdner Stollen, which has a tradition of over 500 years and is sent all over the world at Christmas time. Of course, you can also taste the tunnels. You can certainly use the free time afterward to go on a shopping tour or visit a particularly beautiful Christmas market, the medieval Advent spectacle in the Stallhof.

After enjoying the breakfast in the hotel we recommend a tour to Meißen and Wackerbarth. The bus takes you to the famous Meissen. Here you visit the famous Meissen porcelain manufactory and experience a guided tour through the museum. Afterward, you have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch in the in-house restaurant, of course, served on original Meissen porcelain.
Then we recommend a short city tour in Meißen. Especially at Christmas time, Meißen is an insider tip, when in the atmospheric setting of the market square at festively decorated stalls, the dealers sell their Christmas goods and the magnificent town hall building is transformed into a huge Advent calendar.
In the afternoon you visit Schloss Wackerbarth, a winery close to Dresden. A guide will take you to the wine fields, show you the wine cellars and for sure you will have a tasting of their sekt and wines. You will be back at the hotel in the late afternoon and we recommend enjoying dinner in a restaurant.
