Visit three of the most popular Buddhist temples in the city. We will start with Wat Traimit, located at the end of Chinatown, on Yaowarat Road, near the Hualampong train station. Wat Traimit houses the largest solid gold Buddha in the world, measuring almost five meters in height with a weight of five and a half tons. The tour will continue to Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok. The temple of the huge reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. This is located behind the Buddha Temple. It is one of the largest temples in the city and famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha that is 46 meters long and covered in gold. Next, you will visit the Grand Palace, which is undoubtedly the most famous monument in the city. Built in 1782, for 150 years it was the home of the King of Thailand, the royal court and the administrative seat of government. The Grand Palace in Bangkok is an ancient building that continues to impress its visitors with its beautiful architecture and details. Within the complex, is Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram), considered the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand, enshrines the highly revered Buddha meticulously carved from a single block of jade.

Bangkok – Kanchanaburi – River Kwai
06.00-06.30 Pick-up at a hotel in the centre of Bangkok and head to the Kanchanaburi province (128 km to the west of Bangkok)
Arrival at Kanchanaburi. Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Center, an interactive museum, information and research center dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. The fully air-conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. Visit the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, which is a memorial to some 6,000 Allied prisoners who perished along the railway of death and were transferred after the war to this final resting place. Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, part of the Death Railway built by Allied prisoners. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the Hellfire Pass Interpretation Center. The interpretive center presents the history of the Burma-Thailand railway under chronological and thematic headings, explaining the reason for the railway, the way it was built and the hardships experienced by those who worked on it. You can then descend the long flight of stairs behind the museum to the Hellfire Pass Memorial Walking Trail by following the original rail bed. Then, take a longtail boat from Phu Takien Pier to River Kwai Jungle Rafts. Check-in on arrival.

After breakfast, take a long-tailed boat upriver to visit Sai Yok Yai Waterfall and National Park. Return at noon for lunch at River Kwai Jungle Rafts.
In the afternoon, visit the Lawa cave, explore the many spacious chambers with stalactites and stalagmites. Relax in Paradise Optional: Bamboo Rafting, Canoeing, River Jumping, and Traditional Thai Massage (for a fee)

13.00 Take a historic ride on the Death Rail Train as it passes over the original wooden viaduct built by Allied prisoners

18:00 Arrival in Bangkok and transfer to hotels.
