- You leave Nairobi by taking a light aircraft flight to Samburu National Park. Enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped Mount Kenya as you fly north.
- Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be transferred to your camp where you can relax, settle in and enjoy the incredible surroundings where you will have 2 full days available.
- Samburu National Park is a fantastic location to begin your safari. The Ewaso Ngiro River attracts a variety of animals that can be seen congregating at this lifeline to the reserve. You can spot the Samburu Big 5, which includes the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk antelope, and Somali ostrich, as well as more than 400 types of birds.
- You can get within feet of the wildlife in Saruni Samburu’s photographic hide, as well as enjoy game drives and guided bush walks.
