On arrival at King Shaka International Airport, please collect your bags and head to the exit. Our driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. Once your bags are loaded, it’s off to Makakatana Bay, where your Zululand adventure begins. You will stay for the next 3 nights at Makakatana Bay.

On arrival day, join an afternoon wetland drive for a taste of this enchanting, pristine park — rich in birdlife and wildlife, big and small — aboard our luxury open safari vehicles. Enjoy a sundowner drink as the sky turns magical colours and the sounds and smells of dusk settle in.

Full-Day Beach Trip — Eastern Shores & Perrier’s Rocks (Signature)

Lake crossing and dune-forest drive to a sheltered bay at our private concession within iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Time at the beach (swim/snorkel when safe), picnic behind the dunes. Return via a Western Shores game-drive routing. 
*IMPORTANT - Subject to sea & weather conditions. 

After breakfast, a safari game drive takes you through the Western Shores to the Makakatana boat, where our skipper awaits. Enjoy a leisurely two-hour cruise on Africa's largest estuarine system, Lake St Lucia — spotting crocodiles, plenty of hippos, and birdlife (+530 species recorded in the area). Your guide then sets up a picnic lunch in the park before you return to the lodge.

After breakfast and check out, it’s off for your 3 nights Big 5 safari experience at Sungulwane Private Game Lodge for the next 3 nights.

On arrival, you will check in at the reception area before settling into your room. Lunch will be served.

Before you know it, it's off into the African Bush to search for the BIG 5, amongst other animals. During the drive, you will stop for a sundowner and drink in the bush views. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and then retire to your rooms. 
 

Today is an exciting activity! You have a planned activity at the Manyoni Private Game Reserve.

It's an early start to the day as you head into the bush for the last time, hoping to tick off all the animals you missed.

After breakfast, please check out and settle any extra's directly. Your driver will meet you at the reception for departure. We have arranged a village tour before heading off to Sala Beach House for the next 3 nights.  

After breakfast you have been booked for a cultural tour to Inanda Township.
This tour will will include a visit to Ohlange Museum, Mahatma Ghandi's house, Girls Cemenary School, lunch with the locals  

After breakfast, you will have the day at leisure to explore the area.
Perhaps you would like to take advantage of the spa... or spendthe day at the beach, with a picnic lunch ordered from Sala Beach House?

Tonight, we have booked you a special durban curry treat at The Oyster Box Hotel, Umhlanga Rocks.. a taste of what the Spice City has to offer.

After breakfast, please check out and settle any extra’s directly. Once your bags are loaded, it’s off to King Shaka International Airport for your flight home.
