Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will assist you with baggage and guide you to the domestic departures area for your scheduled flight to Mfuwe, the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Your journey begins with two nights at **Kakuli Bushcamp**, located on the banks of the Luangwa River. This camp offers stunning views and exceptional game-viewing opportunities. Accommodation is in comfortable safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, designed to keep you close to nature while still enjoying the comforts of home.
Enjoy day and night game drives, guided walking safaris, and boat safaris (seasonal) during your stay. Kakuli is known for its proximity to prime wildlife hotspots, particularly during the green season when river activity is at its peak.
From Kakuli, you’ll move upriver to **Mchenja Bushcamp**, where you’ll spend the next two nights. This elegant and luxurious camp is nestled beneath a grove of ancient ebony trees overlooking the Luangwa River.
Mchenja offers fantastic game-viewing opportunities, with activities including game drives and walking safaris. The camp’s unique location allows for sightings of large elephant herds, lions, and other predators.
Your next destination is Nsolo Bushcamp, where you will spend two nights. This charming and remote camp is set on a bend of the Luwi River, one of the park’s dry riverbeds, and is famous for its walking safaris.
Accommodation is in open-fronted chalets on raised platforms, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding wilderness. Experience the thrill of exploring South Luangwa on foot, guided by expert rangers, and enjoy intimate wildlife encounters in this pristine environment.
The final stop on your South Luangwa circuit is Luwi Bushcamp, where you’ll stay for two nights, benefiting from the Stay 4 Pay 3 offer. Luwi is one of the most remote camps in the park, located deep in the wilderness near a lagoon teeming with hippos and crocodiles.
This camp is perfect for walking safaris, providing an authentic and immersive bush experience. Learn about the intricacies of the African bush as you track wildlife on foot and enjoy the solitude of this untouched area.
From Mfuwe, take a scheduled flight to Royal Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi, where your adventure continues.
Spend three nights at **Chongwe River Camp**, taking advantage of the **Stay 3 Pay 2** offer. Located at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers, this camp offers a luxurious and tranquil setting with a variety of activities to enjoy.
Accommodation is in beautifully designed tented suites or chalets with en-suite bathrooms and private decks overlooking the river.
