The Naturalist Collection is a small family-run business based in Namibia. The collection includes Batis Birding Safaris, Namibian Naturalist Tours & Safaris, Desert Day Tours and Braine Photography. It is owned by Steve and Louise Braine together with their sons Sean and Dayne. Steve and his sons are renowned naturalists and Namibia’s best specialised guides. The Braines have been in the tourism and conservation industry for the past 30 years. This combined with a lot of travelling experience as well as a good sense of humour make them the ultimate guides to have on tour.

Providing clients with the ultimate safari is our first priority. Here are some of the things we insist on:
- Whether mid-range or high-range, we ensure that the accommodation booked is clean and well established
- Vehicles are comfortable and convenient for photography. We ensure that each client has his/her own window seat. Daily mineral water, cool box or fridge, step ladder and bean bags are some of things included in the vehicle.
