Adventure Vacation Safaris is a Uganda-based inbound safari company with operations in East Africa. We are experts in arranging for gorillas and other primates tracking safaris in Uganda and Rwanda. We tailor our safari packages based on clients’ travel preferences, time, and budget. We are passionate about our motherland and customer satisfaction.
With  8 years of experience in offering travel advisory, organizing inbound tours, and handling ground transportation, we have formed a reliable network of partners and service providers that enable us to accommodate a wide range of our customers’ needs. We organize all-inclusive inbound group and private tours, Gorillas, or chimpanzee permit bookings, airport transfers and ground transportation, game viewing safaris, hiking tours, mountaineering excursions, city tours, community, and cultural tours. Operations are based in Uganda and Rwanda. We also have partner agents in Kenya, Tanzania, and Madagascar.

Itinerary Terms and Conditions

The prices from 2pax are based on per person sharing a room. A single room surcharge applies for clients who would like to stay in single rooms.

In case of unavailable accommodation properties, we shall suggest like alternatives. In case Gorilla or chimpanzee permits are not available on requested dates, we are able to adjust the itinerary or advise accordingly.

Adventure Vacation Safaris Terms and Conditions

Payment Policy.

  • Upon confirmation of a booking via email, a detailed itinerary which includes the price per person shall be made and shared with the Travel agent or respective client.
  • Upon confirmation of the shared itinerary and price from the client via email, an invoice shall be prepared regarding the details in the itinerary and any other additional services that the client might have requested for.
  • An additional invoice can be sent in case there are further changes to the itinerary.
  • A deposit payment of 100% of Gorilla trekking or habituation fees and 10% of the ground program fees shall be required 14 days from the date of the invoice.
  • Full payment of an invoice shall be required at least 30 days before the date of arrival of clients in the country.
  • All payments must be made to the company bank details indicated on an invoice.
  • This payment plan enables Adventure Vacation Safaris to book and secure services as requested by the clients.
  • The company shall not be held liable in the event that an offered service is not secured because a client or Travel Agent did not make due payment or make communication thereof.
  • In case of bookings made within a month of the starting date, payment shall be required immediately to secure services like trekking permits if part of the itinerary. Full payment must be done before the tour can start.

 

Tour Cancellation Policy

  • The 10% deposit on the ground program fees is non-refundable upon cancellation.
  • In case of rescheduling to another travel period, the 10% shall be fully refunded as credit notes.
  • Cancellation from 90 days to 30 days before the start date, 25% of the Ground Program fees shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee. This fee is also fully refunded as credit notes in case the travel agent/ client postpones their travel to another date during this period.
  • Cancellation from 29 days to 15 days before the start date, 50% of the ground program cost shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee
  • Cancellation from 14 days to 05 days before the start date, 75% of the ground program cost shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee
  • Cancellation from 04 days before to actual start date of the tour, 100% of the ground program cost shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee.

 

Gorilla permits Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation before 90 days to the trekking date, 30% of the Gorilla permit fees shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee. This fee is fully refunded as credit notes in case the travel agent/ client postpones their trekking date 90 days before the trekking date.
  • Cancellation from 90 days to 46 days before the trekking date, 50% of the Gorilla permit fees shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee. This fee is also fully refunded as credit notes in case the travel agent/ client postpones their travel to another date during this period.
  • Cancellation from 45 days to 15 days before the trekking date, 75% of the Gorilla permit shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee
  • Cancellation from 14 days before to actual trekking date, 100% of the Gorilla permit fees shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee.

Note: Rescheduling of Gorilla permits is subject to availability on the new dates and in the new locations requested.
