Cap Juluca, set on white sand beaches facing the turquoise waters of Maundays Bay, has charmed visitors for decades. The Moorish architecture blends with lush landscaped grounds that feature 60000 flowering plants. The Moroccan inspiration continues in the interiors of guest rooms, all just steps away from the beach. Accommodation facilities include stereos, iPod docking stations, WI-FI access and luxury bath products. The complex's limitless recreational options include tennis, water sports, a fitness center with yoga and Pilates classes as well as a nearby golf course. Visitors may start or end a stay with a cruise aboard the resort’s 32 foot boat.
The resort comprises 108 spacious and beautifully-appointed beachfront rooms, junior suites, one- and two-bedroom suites, and three- and five-bedroom villas. All accommodation is air conditioned and features cool tiled floors, ceiling fans, louvred windows, a marble-tiled bathroom, flat screen TV, CD/DVD player, mini bar, Bose music system with iPod docking station, complimentary WiFi and a furnished balcony or terrace with spectacular ocean views. Deluxe Rooms offer fabulous ocean views and have direct beach access. Premium Rooms have a private solarium or roof top terrace. Junior Suites offer a comfortable sitting area whilst One and Two Bedroom Suites have a separate living room. The Beachfront Pool Suite, Two Bedroom Jonquil Pool Suite, and Three and Five Bedroom Villas offer a spacious living/dining area, glorious ocean views and their own private pool.
The hotel has two main restaurants. Cip’s by Cipriani is a relaxed and casual waterfront restaurant and lounge open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves rich North Italian flavours with spectacular views of beautiful Maundays Bay. Continental breakfast served on your private terrace or balcony is a popular option here too. Pimms fine dining restaurant serves sensational meals combining delicate flavours and subtle spices. Maundays Club offers guests an opportunity to relish the views, whilst enjoying refreshments and Caribbean light bites by day. As the stars come out, the menu turns to Cocina Peruana, which showcases Belmond’s worldwide legacy serving Peruvian Ceviche and Tapas. The Cap Shack at the end of the beach offers casual all-day dining with fresh, local ingredients such as grilled catch of the day.
The spectacular beach is, of course, one of the main draws here, but there’s also a swimming pool, fitness centre, two tennis courts with resident pro, and complimentary watersports including windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding. Anguilla’s 18-hole Greg Norman-designed golf course is just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel. A superb range of ‘Spa Rituals’, including massages, aromatherapy, Tai chi and yoga is offered on the beach or in the privacy of your own room or suite.
